Not at all. I am an artist, and anybody with creativity and knowledge in that area knows that different colors represent different moods, emotions and characteristics. Certain colors are certainly more "feminine" than other colors and it has nothing to do with sounding like a child.
When a company decides to release a product or a person decides to paint their livingroom wall, color choice certainly plays into it, and a specific color can change the whole mood and effectiveness of a product and how people relate to it.
I think all white with the aluminum trim is pretty sexy. Thats coming from someone supremely confident in his masculinity.
White is kind of girly when it comes to tech items. Certain colors are more feminine than others. White is better suited for appliances than computers.
Would you be happy if Apple only made a shock pink iphone? No black, no white, just shock pink. Shock pink is only a color too, so what would the big deal be? right?
Only girls and flaming gays would want to have a shock pink iPhone.
I get the feeling that one day you're going to be one of these anti-gay US Senators that gets caught sucking off a male prostitute in a truck stop bathroom. Usually, the more worried you are about looking feminine, the more you're trying to hide how feminine you are. Just trying to help you hide it a bit better in the future you're welcome.
Of all the mockups I've seen I think this one looks the best:

In 6 pages no one has managed to analyze the possible validity of this entire scenario. How likely is it that apple would release a white iPhone? Their trend seems to disagree. The black and aluminum theme is taking over their product lineup with the exception of the white MacBook of course.
That said, I look forward to an all white iPhone.

When it comes to their larger mobile products, the trend is definitely black/aluminum, but the handheld devices are on a different trajectory. They started with black/white iPod Nano and now they have, what, 10 different colors? In 6 pages no one has managed to analyze the possible validity of this entire scenario. Cellphones have a bit of accessory value to them in a way that laptops do not. I think Apple recognizes that this is an area where lack of choice is not appreciated.
Never really been taken by the white handsets but could go for that.A side-by-side for interested parties
