I don’t need an iPad mini that’s essentially an iPhone Max, now with a USB-C port, that can’t make phone calls. Apple is developing new products that serve mostly to cannibalize the rest of their product base. Apple needs to focus on developing products that cannibalize the product base of their competition. Also, they need to decide whether a USB-C port is a good thing or a bad thing. It’s as if the iPad developers aren’t bothering to work with the iPhone side of the house and are even intent on competing with them and putting them out of business. Apple needs to focus on, develop and execute a coherent product plan. Henry Ford had it right. You can have any color you want so long as it’s black. Metaphorically speaking, Apple needs to pick a color. Infinite product diversity sacrifices economies of scale and results in a Tower of Babel effect.
Perfectly said. No MBA (I explain the world to you) nonsense talk.

The reason they aren't Henry Fording it is because they can afford to sprawl the product lines what with the scale and brutal efficiency of reusing designs etc.

Apple usually Henry's it in the beginning. See: mediocre AirPods. HomePod.

Makes sense, should just be a smaller iPad Air, especially since it's more expensive than the home button education iPad.
Yeah, but the measurements are off, from the dimensions I don’ t see this one being the same formfactor as an iPad Pro/iPad Air . I think it is going to be a bigger iPad mini , but in the same classic form factor.

They finally came to their senses and changed to usb-c on that one? Shut up and take my money!

6 years and counting...for a completely brand new redesigned iPad Mini...maybe a Pro version too!:D
Talking about Apple taking it time...it going into overtime here!

For the iPad Mini buyers, 8GB RAM, Apple! After all, 6 years between redesigns; offer the Mini buyer something!
