If they keep the same size screen, I'll be moving on. It's too small. Hopefully they're not that stupid.
Personally I'd be disappointed if the screen weren't 4 inches. LTE is kind of cool, but I spend so much of my life in wifi range that it just isn't going to get me excited about a new iPhone. But a little extra real estate on that screen sure would.
Needs a bigger screen. The iPhone looks dwarfed next to competitors. With all the multitasking, new apps like garageband, iPhoto, we need every half inch we can get.
An adapter would mitigate that issue.
I don't believe this either. Why?
Because I think Apple is smart enough to understand the demand for a bigger screen. And I think they understand that a significant amount of their customers are on the brink when it comes to choosing an iPhone vs an android based on screen size.
I honestly think its a must that Apple ps the size of the screen. For every person that feels the screen should stay its current size, I think there is two who would prefer a bigger screen.
New dock connector means my relatively new sound systems, 2 of them, will become obsolete. I hope when the iPhone 5 is released they offer the 4s cheap - but I just can't get by with 8GB (they way they downgrade the previous models to leverage people into the new ones). I am surprised they didn't do that to the iPad2 - $399 for 8gb.
Also, I was hoping for 4"
This is all still rumors and we have plenty of time to sift through those
Still only 3.5"? I have an android phone with a 4.3" screen, it holds in my hand just fine. Don't know until you try.
I tested Samsung Note today 5"
Perfect
No need for no any tablet never.
Thats why they wont give you bigger screens
10" pad? it is a joke

no you dont think. you believe Apple it is called iBelieve
I could go for a 4in screen with higher resolution in similar form factor, LTE & quad core processor.
What's wrong with using two hands for certain smart phone functions? I understand why those with one hand would be concerned but why would the others? Making calls with one hand is not an issue even with big phones. For other functions - texting, browsing etc. just use two hands. Nowadays smart phones are used primarily for something other than voice calls. All those activities benefit immensely from having larger screen so the tradeoffs are skewed strongly towards larger larger screens.
lilo777 said:That's the key. You can make devices all sorts of different sizes. But the current iPhone is just right for one-handed use by a huge portion of the population. For two-handed use the iPad is also just right for a huge portion of the population. Anything in between would be too big for one-handed use and quite scrunched-up for optimal two-handed input, or would sell in smaller numbers only to people with really big or small hands.
There is one major flaw in this logic - the vast majority of population have two hands. Why would they worry about one handed use? It's like worrying about being able to ride a bike with one leg.
