So I received one of the chargers (for some reason one is making its way from China even though they were both ordered at the same time and I thought from the same seller). Anyway, I put it on before I went for a 30 minute run and came back to ~16% battery increase. Not sure if this is slow/fast/normal as this is my first wireless charger, but it seems to be charging faster than I thought it would. May grab one of the Nokia chargers from AT&T on my way home from work tomorrow and see how it compares.

Oh that's great. I'll have to check it out again. I was spoiled by cyanogenmod which had the same features built in.
 
This phone screams man opening YouTube is no longer a chore wow anyone thinking if switching from iPhone 5 just do it stock gmail YouTube Google now and I really like the HDR +

Sounds about right. Yesterday, I let my phone completely drop to 0% and shut off and after 2 hours and 15 minutes I was at 56%. Fairly close to what you saw, but I'm guessing you didn't let your battery deplete all the way down either? From dead battery to 100% takes ~4 hours, give or take a few minutes. I consider that pretty good for wireless charging.
 
Quick question for those who have the Nexus 5.

Is Phase Beam still in 4.4? Or did Google get rid of it. Im just curious about that wallpaper because I love that wallpaper.

Ah that's not bad at all. I'll be using the chargers at work and while I'm sleeping, so super fast charging isn't all that important to me. And you're right, I had about 15% battery when I set it down on the charger earlier.
 
Just received mine. I can't get Google now to come up. Do you have to have a Sim installed? Seems odd... I swiped from the left and from the bottom. The left does nothing. The bottom only brings up the search bar and history. I have to be missing something.

Also, the mail app for my Mac mail does not show hyperlinks to subscribed threads from this forum. Anyone else see this?

Restore fixed the first issue...
 
Well I waited on getting the Nokia charger. Now AT&T is out of stock on all except yellow. Debating getting the yellow or paying more money on AMazon. :(

Lol almost 2014 and the best from Android still can't stand one drop on its face. Shucks.

Daaaaamn lol I'm using a sleeve right now...still waiting on my damn case from SPIGEN. Already been a week
 
just got my spidgen case. SO GOOD ! very light weight. make sure u peel the film off the front and back ! so many reviews say bad quality lmfao. it comes all scratched up because of protective film that u have to take off
 
Can you really not click on links in the mail app?

You mean like how the iPad air can't survive a drop on SOFT DIRT?

None of these drop tests mean much. One drop may shatter a screen and another may not show any signs of the drop. Too many variables. If you want to protect the phone though, only sure fire way is with a case and screen protector.
 
Can you order an extra sim ejector tool? its tiny and no other tool fits the N5, I just know ill eventually lose it.

Try calling some local stores. I found two black ones in my local store.

Yeah. I don't know how accurate the article I read was. However it said that the Gorrilla glass becomes scratch resistant but more fragile. To me its because of the super thin bezel.

On a side note, Is anyone using a screen protector? I just installed an ismooth and it looks great but is kind of sticky feeling :/

Please do. The ones I'm using keep the screen looking beautiful but, makes sliding your finger across the screen difficult. It is always a struggle for me to decide if i want to use a screen protector or not :(
