Sure its convieniant but i dont have a desk job. Ive no problem with plugging it in at all but if a wireless charger is cheap enough, ill get one but no way i pay a lot for one.
Id pay up to $25-30 but not $50 like the Nexus charger and no way $70 for that other one(the cradle one), though i do like that a lot and would prefer that one if i didnt care how much they were.

on sale here bro!

Definitely nothing wrong with tried and true plugging the cable and it's up to each individual to determine whether the extra feature is worth the money to implement. That's what's nice about adding features; you don't lose the old way, too. :)

It's nice there is such a wide range of price options. I might get a cheaper one to use at work, for example.

Hmm, i know my arrival date of my N5 is supposed to be on Wednesday but there has been no update from UPS tracking since the 22nd. I thought they were better than USPS.

Hey Guys, I wanted to know if anyone has exchanged their Nexus 5 because of the Annoying loose home button issue? I ordered a wooden skin for my Nexus and was thinking maybe I should exchange mine now instead of waiting so I can put the skin on one I don't intend on exchanging. Thanks!

I bet the neutered cm 10.2 camera on my gs4 still performs better than the N5.

You just can't expect a civic to be the same as an Audi all out even if someone plugs a better engine in the civic. Processor and screen alone doesn't redeem a consumer smartphone IMO.

/ducks the incoming darts.

Mine seems to find my location indoors on Mapquest, but not Google Maps or waze.

Seems like now it is hanging on Mapquest too, but usually when I'm outside it's fine. Google maps is all sorts of strange, even outside, but when I drive and test it out, it works accurately and tells me where to pull off at the right time.

What is going on?

Seems to be pulling like the location of a nearby cell tower or something because its close but still way off.

I did walk down a street with Mapquest, and it kept updating it accurately however. Even just now...

I think Samsung is more akin to Hyundai than Audi.

So I've got my Nexus 5 and coming from an iPhone for almost 5 years, what's the best way to get my iTunes into the phone?

Also, does everyone just use the Google Default music player?

Used a Slickwrap for my Nexus 5. Went with the leather look. Feels great, easy to apply (it's a sticker and their installation instructions are dead simple and quite clever).

And it's actually a lot more subtle than the picture shows. You can barely tell the leathery outlines IRL. The picture and lighting make them look more apparent than they really are.

Plenty of nice options: http://www.slickwraps.com/Google-Nexus-5-Wraps-Skins-s/728.htm

I prefer shuttle. Poweramp is nice too. Also if you can root your phone, install viper4android (just Google it). It's a nice sound tweak.

I used play music for a while but found it a bit too rigid for my liking.

For my music library, I just used double twist to sync it to my android.

Google music can sync to your iTunes I believe.

I finally had the chance to stop in to T-Mobile and get some hands-on time with the N5. Man, playing with that for about half an hour then moving back to my iPhone 4 was a bad idea - the iPhone 4 is just straight up inadequate in every way.

I also had a chance to play with the other top end phones, but have since discovered that I hate touchwiz, despise HTC sense, and think the skin on LG's G2 looks like it was designed 10 years ago. To each their own, I guess.

Suprised you despise Sense i've thought it was a pretty good looking frontend.

I had similar feelings after playing with N5 for a while and comparing it to my iPhone 5.

My N5 got delivered today. I know i am not used to it yet and some things are hard to find. I am already missing my menu button from my GS3. It is very fast and i like that. I still have a lot of setting up to do.
Not sure if im digging the colors from the screen as much as on my AMOLED yet.

Which menu button are you referring to? What does it do?

Regarding AMOLED, I thought the same when I first switched from Super AMOLED to IPS.... had forgotten all about it until I just read your post :p (You won't miss it for long, both techs have pluses and minuses)

All Android phones used to have a menu button instead of a multitask button some manufacturers most notably Samsung have kept it. In apps it brings up the same menu as the 3 dots, on the desktop it brings a shortcut to system settings/backgrounds and a few other things that I forget.

I believe Samsung is also the only Android manufacturer to keep removable batteries and SD card slots on their phones. Just another reason why they continue to get my business and so many Android users buy their phones.
