Does the icon for the app drawer look weird to anyone else? Maybe it will just take some getting used to.

It's the circle in the top middle. Hopefully it sounds better than the nexus 4. That's why I returned my two.

The question is why in the heck change the ear piece from the phone that this is based off?? What benefit can that bring?
Edit: I guess it's really only based off of the G2 internally. Not externally. But still.

I like the cleaner black slate look that they employ for nexus phones (its beautiful when the device is turned off). I just hope the QC is better this time around. Another reason why I'm resisting the first batch too.
I just wish they'd sell it at Best Buy because then I wouldn't have to worry much about QC issues.

Ok that's what I thought. Keep in mind their insurance has changed. They now charge a deductible where as they didn't in the past. It's a shame really.

Probably so. LTE sucks. Can't tell you how much I love being on plain ol' 4G. Haha. I mean, the speed is amazing, but the fact that it sucks the life out of your phone... Not so much.
Where did you read that? I just cancelled the plan on my iPhone 5 three weeks ago and at that time there were no deductibles. I can't find anything online stating there has been a change.

So we just went from 7 to 6.
You could potentially interpret the S in each word as being a 5 or even look to it as a reference to Michael Jackson who happened to be a member of the Jackson 5. So we’ve got from 7 to 6 to 5.
And then today, the Kit Kat G+ page posted this image, which is simply a full Kit Kat bar and the words “KIT KAT 4.4.” There are 4 bars to this Kit Kat, along with a mention of “4.4.”
See where we are going with this? It’s a countdown!
If the trend were to continue tomorrow with a 3, then a 2 on Saturday, and a 1 on Sunday, we end up at Monday, October 21. Yep, that’s the latest theory. We’ve even seen the word “confirmed” tossed out there. Woof.
Update 2: Oh it gets better. If you flip the “This is it” picture, the “is” becomes a 21! I seriously can’t make this stuff up.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news....I can't remember where I read it but in the best buy terms and conditions it's there.
Here's the section about phones.
"Contract and Non-Contract Based Mobile Devices:
All defective/malfunctioning contract-based mobile devices will be replaced with a product of like kind and quality of comparable performance using Geek Squads Rapid Exchange process.
If you are paying for your Plan on a monthly basis, your account must be current to receive service.
You will pay a $49.99 service fee for each claim submitted under this Plan that is not covered under a manufacturers warranty on a feature phone and a $149.99 service fee for each claim submitted under this Plan that is not covered under a manufacturers warranty on a smartphone or iPhone. You are
limited to 3 claim submissions after which our obligations under this Plan will be fulfilled in their entirety."

could just be a different testing method. i don't think anyone got anywhere near 15 hours of talk time on the n4.
Thanks for the link. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me. That is no longer worth the cost.

No problem. Yeah, I was surprised to hear it too. They have been the only insurance I've used for years until I cancelled a few months ago.
