Very minor thing, but why do they love the slanted top and bottom look now... If you look at the profile shot the top and bottom are slanted down towards the front of the phone. This is a lot more obvious in the HTC One. Aside from that, looks sexy, would definitely consider if I had a AT&T plan, O well, will wait for the iPhone 6/Nexus 6.

At $349 it's a very good deal but this phone have better specs at lower price (also unlocked).

Xiaomi Mi3 at $327

Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.3GHz CPU
Sharp/LG 5″ 1080P IPS display with ultra-sensitive touch
2GB LPDDR3 RAM
16GB storage
SONY 13 MP Exmor RS CMOS back camera
2MP BSI front camera
NFC & 2.4/5G WiFi support
3050 mAh battery
Dimensions: 114mm×72mm×8.1mm

better camera and better battery than the Nexus 5.
$22 less than Nexus 5

Xiaomi in the near future will give Samsung a run for their money in the Chinese smarthphone market share.
Internationally, I don't think Xiaomi can compete with Google Nexus. Though it doesn't need to expand internationally since China is now the #1 smartphone market in the world.

Goodbye iPhone 5, hello Nexus 5! I'll be coming back to the iPhone next year when it gets a bigger screen. I cannot wait to finally get a 5" screen! Woot!

I probably shouldn't even think about it, I really do like my HTC One, but this looks like such an awesome phone. I'm probably going to end up buying one.

As much as I love my Note phones, I really want to try something different and this might be it. I don't mind going smaller and could sell my Note 3 and almost have enough money to buy this years Nexus AND next years Nexus.

Only thing that would stop me is crap camera and/or crap battery life.

Crap crap crap.

The more I see the more I want. And I'd promised myself I'd keep my HTC One. :-/

Swift KitKat for GPE devices Google/HTC/Samsung before I spend money that I don't really need to spend.

I'm such a glutton for a Nexus.

There's no way this thing is smaller than the N4. Not with those bezels.

But if they slipped this onto the Play Store accidentally, an official release must be imminent.

So you really ARE the way other people here say you are. Duly noted.

I had no idea what the 32gb version would cost. But when I saw $349 for the price of the 16gb version I figured the 32gb version would likely be HIGHER than $399 since I thought I heard that the 32 would be at least $100 more than the 16.

To be perfectly honest, I'd rather not spend more than $199 for a phone since I'm eligible for an upgrade through AT&T. But I might be tempted to get the iPhone 6 next year so I'd rather not waste my upgrade. I thought maybe I'd buy a Nexus 5 off contract and give Android a shot. So naturally I'd like to spend as little as possible on it.

I can't believe I just typed all of that for you. On on iPhone 4, no less.

Geez, how dare I try and understand what you were saying. Grow up man.

"Capture the everyday and the epic"

I hope that means they concentrated on the camera..

I'd be using it on AT&T if I were to keep it. As long as it has LTE.

"Epic" makes me think it can capture at a higher frame rate. Just a guess.

Good plan.

If I do get the Nexus 5, I'd want a wireless charger too. WOuld go great with the N5 and the Nexus 7 I own.

I have the current Nexus wireless charger and it is poorly designed. I'd recommend staying away from it.

It attracts dust like crazy. And with the slanted design, the more dust it attracts the more easily your phone slides off.

I'm hoping the same thing. That was a big plus of the Moto X for me.

I bought a super cheap like $1.20 nano SIM to Micro SIM adapter on Amazon just to be prepared for anything. May not end up using it, but it was cheap enough to not be a big deal.

Are we sure this will be the same physical size as the N4 or even smaller? I just find that hard to believe. I also wonder if it will any thinner than the N4. Why wouldn't they make the camera flush with the back? It seems strange that it would stick out.

After spending the last year with the iPhone 5, I think I am ready to return to a nexus. I say return because before the iPhone 5 I had a galaxy nexus.
I really wanted o get a 5s, but the whole sensor issue has been making me hold off the purchase because there is no certainty of it Bering a hardware or a software issue and there is still no fix.
This time I have been holding off, has been making me become increasing excited about the nexus 5.
What is your opinion?

Cheers!
