Hmm I think Google Drive Space was 100GB
N4 Display was fine IMO, so I expect this to be the same or better
As long as the camera is as good as the G2 ( I don't see why not with IOS) sure 8mp vs mp , but i'll live with it

Google take my money!! I'm Sold I don't care about the battery let me try it out for a few weeks then be the judge, I can always sell it /return it, but I need it day 1:D

The 100GB of drive storage + always on voice features really gets my motor running.

I hope that storage is for life and that there are active notifications.

Now, Google, launch the damn thing. Take my money. And make me a happy person.

He said he was going back to play with it more, I'm hoping this isn't an indication that it won't be available anytime soon. Cause that would make me probably just buy a Moto X and call it a day.

That camera protrusion is nothing compared to the S4/LG Optimus G Pro. They both stick out just as much if not more. That's what happens when you fit a nice camera into a thin device (and don't charge $600 for it [Apple])

That camera protrusion is nothing compared to the S4/LG Optimus G Pro. They both stick out just as much if not more. That's what happens when you fit a nice camera into a thin device (and don't charge $600 for it [Apple])

Yeah I guess that is true. Phone still looks really good. Just freaking release the darn thing.

Its not as noticeable because they use smoother angles by it, but I'll compare when I get the phone in hand. It'll be close to the same size.

Im hoping tomorrow Google gives us some KitKats to celebrate Halloween. I'm calling it a night, talk to you guys in the AM.

S4 / LG / Note 3 are all 600+ here, silly to single out Apple in that regard.

I didn't mean just apple with the price, however they throw a lot into their camera tech (Sapphire lens to point one thing out), yet still fit it all into a wonderfully thin package, that says a lot, but you pay for it.

I can see how it seemed that way, I should have been more specific. My apologies.

Anyone else having trouble sleeping? I feel like its Christmas and I'm 10 again. Only this time I have no idea if its actually gonna happen or not.

complete backup solution, think icloud but for android.

:O had anyone of you heard about that one before?
 
I am only slightly more excited after reading all that.

100GB offer is nice, but likely won't be permanent.
Camera spec bump is expected.
Full backup system is nice, should have been added years ago.
Touchless control will likely still be crippled by Google Now requiring touch input for the things I would use it for most.
He didn't say if battery is any better compared to N4.
 
I'm really digging the whole move everything to the cloud lol, I don't care about the NSA :D have a look at my photos and useless junk like I care as long as they don't get deleted and don't take too much space on my Mobile/Laptop

I don't think there will be a major update with regards to 4.4 same UI, different icons , read somewhere another NFC push ( maybe has something to do with Google Wallet announcement ), but then again who knows maybe there is something in the works

one thing that was sucked on the N4 was the camera lol and also the speaker hopefully that is changed this time around
 
Damn it.. all the new leaked info has me wanting to purchase this phone again even after I said I would wait.. I'm so weak.

Me either. If anything they would add "this guy listens to a lot of trance and progressive" to their file on me and move on.

It's unpopular I'm sure, but I have all my playlists set up through iTunes. It's something I set up back in the original iPod days and I've never really found a way to manage it very well in Android. Is there some kind of add in that will allow me to plug in the phone and have it treated basically the same as an iPod/iPhone? Likewise if I try and put some of the playlists on the cloud I'm not exactly enthusiastic about rebuilding my playlists because some have 200 tracks or so.
 
I'd really pick one up if the camera was great. That's the overwhelming problem, for me.

If it's nowhere near even the iPhone 5 camera, then hmmmmm.

I love taking useless pics of stuff.

What about state sales tax? If you don't pay that on the Play Store then it's about a $20 savings... Although I guess that does get weighed against having it today and easier returns....

I am right there with you. I am using an iPhone 5 now because the N4 camera didn't cut it for me. Someone with hands on experience said the camera is improved over the previous model but still not on par with the iPhone. That was just one persons take so I look forward to hearing from others.

I'm pretty sure Google will send you another Nexus before you have to send yours back. I know that's not as convenient as walking into a store but it depends on what you want.

The AMA session returned some interesting tidbits about the Android 4.4 KitKat niceties that will debut with the phone. There seems to be some kind of overarching backup solution created by Google, think iCloud for Android, as it seems to back your app settings, saved games and the like, so a pretty far reaching feature if it pans out with a bunch of storage, too, like mentioned.

I think 100GB of Google drive space was mentioned to backup your data. That would be awesome. That's one thing I love about the iPhone/iPad/Mac world.
