Nexus 5

Once a person has a nice camera in their phone it's hard to go back to a crappy camera, which includes "average" performance.

The Nexus 5 should be at the very worst be equal to the iPhone 5 in terms of camera performance.

I agree. The leak on the play store last week mentioned something about "capturing moments"... and now with the release of auto awesome... and the gallery updates... it seems that Google realizes the importance of the camera and photos. Hopefully that means they didn't skimp on the N5 camera.

Well Google announced the Nexus 5 will be shipping November 13th in 185 countries at a price of $199 - there was a brief moment of elation - then the Vorloks invaded the planet and took all the Nexus 5's as they needed them to 'call home' because apparently the phone support outside of Alpha Centuri is pretty poor. So in order to facilitate their hijacking of the worlds supply of Nexus 5's they used that mind erasing light beam from Men in Black to erase everyones memory of the events and hacked all the earths forums and news blogs stripping out any mention of it.....

But some of us are immune to their mind control. Jim Corr from 'the Corrs' and I know the truth... the real truth......

Haha, could you imagine that November 13th day...I think some people would lose it having to wait two more weeks.

Less than 2 hours left. We know everything about N5, just not too sure about 4.4. I"m glad they are fixing their frag problem with 4.4, and even 512MB devices will be able to use it. Maybe that's whythey are waiting on 5.0, to get tons of devices up to date. They made a lot of progress with JB, though.

Seems odd that Best Buy would be snubbed for such a big day one release.

USA is a huge market and Best Buy is a large national retailer. You would think Google would go out of their way to ensure they have product.

The only problem is that amazon usually starts to sell it after the play store, and I do not want to miss the play store window. Then by time amazon goes live it is too late to cancel your play store order.

I have heard sometime between 11-2 est there will be an announcement today.
