According to you. The other 50 million or so dont agree. I guess Apple dont either since they use Samsung parts that Samsung designs. Nice try though.
I have the same phone as the Captivate but mine is the Vibrant and i have never had that issue. Maybe you were holding it wrong  :D

Im not a Samsung nut by any means but when i see BS, i call it.

It's well known that Samsuck has poor build quality, and poor RF. Just like it is well known that Nokia, Motorola, and RIM have excellent RF. A lot of stuff uses Samsung parts, its their overall design and implementation that's the problem. They make some of the best HDTV's. The reason so many sell is that they have phones in every category on every carrier, including smaller carriers, MVNOs and the like.

LOL. Since I left my iPhone 3GS I've had a Samsung Galaxy S, a Samsung-made Vibrant and now a Samsung-made Nexus S. The built-quality of all has been good, more or less on par with the iPhones I've had. The software that Samsung does sucks, though (I'll never buy another proprietary UI Android).

BTW, the Samsung TVs are generally considered "bleh" in term of picture quality.... :D

I don't know what you consider random reboots, defective GPS, or intermittent "this page cannot be displayed" despite full bars of service

I guess maybe compared to a brick my Samsung Galaxy S has good build quality. Last samsung product I'll ever buy... their strategy is to make so many types of phones consumers get confused and forget they are buying a Samsung product.

I kind of like ICS. But, I do not like that phone.

5 megapixel Camera is weak.
1.2 Ghz processor is not comparable to Apple's A5 chip in just about everything.

ICS is going to be a huge upgrade. I really hope they rush this out to the phones out there. From Froyo to Gingerbread it was not as big as Gingerbread to ICS.

I want ICS now.

Sensors matter here. I remember apple had a weak MP camera with an iPhone, but the sensors made it better. So MP isn't everything.

MP isn't everything, but it is something.

Almost every phones are coming out in mid-late 2011 have 8 megapixel. It's below industry standard. Again, I like ICS, but I don't like this phone. Processor is almost extremely outdated. This processor was used on Galaxy S2 since March/April.

Kind of like what I see. Will await a 4" Android ICS device before I consider it.

I agree, the camera should've been better.

But saying the CPU is outdated.... is stupid. It's a better processor than the iPhone 4S.

True, and the GS2 is faster than the iPhone 4S so its not a big deal. Sure id prefer a 1.5 mHZ but oh well.

Dont know why your saying what you are anyways. There will probably be another phone or two that come out after the Nexus that has even better specs while the iPhone wont have anything till next July or so.
As i keep saying. Apple is now playing BIGTIME catchup.

Still dont know which ill get . The GS2 or the Nexus. Depends on when they say the GS2 will get Icew Cream Sandwich. Also want to know which phone overall is bigger. If Nexus is bigger, i wont get it. The GS2 is borderline too big imo. Bigger than that is a deal breaker for me as far as a phone goes.

I'd get the Nexus since it comes with ICS first. The phones that come with newer versions of Android are usually updated first once a new version comes out. If you want more MP, then get the GSII.
