The only light source was the candle and dim light above.
 
Pardon me, I'm kind of daft when it comes to the camera. Does night mode automatically turn on? Do you need flash?

Turns on automatically and is used instead of the flash. Pictures of the same thing with the flash on don't look nearly as good IMO.
 
How is everyone taking these photos without getting terrible light reflection? Are you editing it out? Almost every night shot I take has little green light reflections. Just the slightest light source seems to do it.
 
I was at dinner with friends last night and we were taking photos of people's feet under the table to demonstrate how amazing the night mode is compared to older phones. :D

Some awesome shots in this thread.. sadly none of the photos I've taken with this mode turn out. They are all extremely dark and blurry. Some of that is my fault since my hands tend to twitch when taking photos but night mode just doesn't work for me. The "dark" is what is getting me.. it shouldn't look like that but it does.
