I have never owned a Pixel, so I didn't know.... but now I have the 11 Pro and Night Mode is blowing my mind! In the living room I turned off all the lights, took a photo with my wives 7 Plus.... complete darkness with some small light coming from outside. 11 Pro takes the photo... I can see the entire room... and it's sharp too. I'm so loving this!

And it's not too much. It doesn't turn night into day, it just makes any dark environment open for a photo moment. Truly amazing tech. I'm happy to finally have it.

I agree! I've been having so much fun with mine this evening!

Just took a quick snap out the bedroom window. It's almost 9pm and very dark.

While everything about the 11 looks better, I'm not sure how I feel about that artificial light.

The 11 Pro actually captured more than my eyes could see, because it's completely dark with all the lights off. It's also really sharp and that while it's shot from my hand. Bizarre!

For anyone that already got their iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max please post your night mode pictures in here....if possible post a picture with your old iPhone as well as the Pro to see a comparison.

I will update this post with mine tonight after I receive my shipment ?

When there was a bit of light earlier this evening night mode looked pretty good however now in a room completely dark and the results are very different. Am I doing something wrong? Night mode is definitely on the 2 images are with night mode for three seconds and ten seconds

Try rebooting your phone by powering off then back on. iOS 13.0 is a bit flakey.

Guys I have some issues with my camera. i was taking a night mode photo outside our building and i noticed something at the top of the photo I dont know if its a reflection of the 3 cameras of the phone or not.

All of the iPhones cameras have that. That is lens flare my friend. The optics in the iPhone camera are not multi coated and they flare like crazy. Plus the optics are made of high quality acrylic instead of glass. So, bright lights, especially pinpoint lights with give ghost images or lens flare like that.

Is the lens flare in these normal too?

Yes... that is what that is... now you can use apps like touch-retouch to erase them off of the photo. However if you avoid bright pinpoints of light, the flare will not show as much. Also make sure the glass on the camera is clean. Finger prints and pocket lint will cause issues also.
