How about you release Pokemon and Mario Kart first, charge $9.99 and profit!
After reading the description Nintendo provided on the App Store it looks like the point of this game is to divulge information you would normally keep private?
All of these complaints about Nintendo not giving up their IPs so easily are incredibly funny to read. If you even remotely understand how the company works at all, you'd know exactly why they still prefer to create their hardware as well as their games.
Isn't it ironic how people that hang around a site devoted to a company who's biggest strength is that they make their own hardware and software is bashing another company and calling it stupid for NOT abandoning that same strategy?
I may or may not have worded my original reply to subtly point out that irony :)Isn't it ironic how people that hang around a site devoted to a company who's biggest strength is that they make their own hardware and software is bashing another company and calling it stupid for NOT abandoning that same strategy?
Does Nintendo still make New & original AAA titles? Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, F-Zero, PilotWings, StarFox?
We had a Wii-U then sold it because 99.99% of it's use was just playing Wii or other "classic" Games.
It feels like Nintendo has been lacking in developing and capitalizing on their own intellectual properties that people would actually care about. Hopefully this MiiTomo is just Nintendo dipping their toe in the waters a little, and then they will plan some actual games to be released.
The term "AAA" is nebulous as best, but I feel like it can be argued that the software lineup of the Wii U and 3DS is some of Nintendo's work best ever.
The WiiU in my opinion is the best system out at the moment because of its games. It doesn't have a huge library but its AAA Nintendo games are great. Nintendo Land, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario WiiU, Pikmin 3, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros WiiU, Splatoon, Super Mario Maker. All are great games.
No they aren't quite the opposite actually. They are dying
Crashes on iOS 8.4, iPhone 6+
This game sounds like the biggest waste of time ... EVER. Why not just bring back the classics? They'd immediately go to the top of the charts.
Nintendo is getting desperate. The Wii was awesome, the Wii U was the complete opposite and will cease production soon.
