That quest is in your mind. I've never said that and you just made it up.

Apple is a for profit company. What they do they do to ultimately give more value to their stockholders. Their design and marketing decisions are made to increase the adoption and sales of their products.

And, despite YOUR opinion, they've done a fantastic job.

Complain a little more. Maybe they'll listen. How much stock do you own?

Oh, I've acknowledged they've done an excellent job making a profit, no argument from me there. How's that at all related to what we're talking about here? Oh, that's right. It isn't. When someone creates a thread complaining about how apple sucks at making money, you and I will be in full agreement that they in fact, are quite good at that.. The argument you're making now is in the wrong thread however. As far as how much stock I own... Not enough.

No, go ahead, please explain. I'm intrigued to know what your reasoning is.

Been there done that. Just read the thread over again.

No, I'd like you to explain here. I've only joined this discussion near the end so you need to answer my post clearly and concisely so that we can properly discuss this.

You're in luck. Forums, unlike say, a conference call, allow the tardy to go back and catch themselves up. ;)

It would be easier just for you to answer my questions in a reply here. You don't want to look like you're trying to avoid explaining yourself.

Easier for you perhaps, not for me and I'm more concerned about making my own life easier. As far as how I look, i'm pretty sure at this point in the thread, we both look like idiots to the general public.

Ok so we'll just scratch your remarks from this thread as rantings with no explanation or reasoning behind them. No point making remarks if you aren't going to back them up as you just look like a troll!

I guess the "I won't buy and iPad if it has 1GB of RAM" or the "my iPad is useless without 2GB of RAM" or the "Apple is evil because they won't give me 2GB of RAM" crowd would disagree with you.

No big loss there though.

Ok, let's go at this from another angle. Apple designed the iPad to function with 1GB of RAM. It works very, very well. All this noise about tabs reloading is just that -noise. I use Chrome and iCan and have NO reloading issues. So if Apple decided to configure Safari to reload tabs, or maybe its a bug, its not really all that big of a deal to be moaning so much about 1GB of RAM. Really.

Is that closer to on topic for you?

And if you don't have enough stock, then I guess your complaints will have to fall in line with everyone elses. Try https://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html.

Who know, someone might listen.

That's where we are in disagreement. I don't feel that it works very very well at all. I've had reloading issues a lot, and MUCH more so now with iOS7 and 8. It's a real issue, not just noise. These issues are being brought up by iPad owners, not Android owners coming here making it up.

You say you've never had that happen, well I have my doubts as to your level of honesty with that statement, but lets move beyond that. You are not everyone, everyone is not you.

I just went back and checked. My remarks haven't been scratched, they're still there which means you can still go back and seek answers to the questions you keep asking.

No 2GB of RAM for iPad Air 2?

Ok. Let me see if I got this.

You had the problem so that means the iPad doesn't work well.

I didn't have the problem, so I'm a liar.

I'm not everyone, but apparently you are.

Got it.

Actually you don't get it at all. Let me clarify

I'm not the one telling you, that you should demand 2GB and not buy if it has 1GB. You on the other hand, are bitching at the folks who don't want an iPad without 2GB... See the difference? If you can understand that simple concept, then you finally get it.

How about this...I also have a problem with tabs reloading on the iPad Air. I can't have more than 2-3 tabs open or else they all reload. A major pain if I was typing something in one of those tabs and then open another one to verify something and then go back and have it reload and lose everything I typed.

Take some time looking at posts from other people on this site and you will see others have similar problems.

And don't give me the bull ***** that it is a problem with Safari. If Apple can't fix the problem in their own damn browser in a year, then they clearly have an incompetent iOS Safari development team.

You are a little too sensitive to be posting on the Internet. You need to grow thicker skin.

There is a ton of tablets on the market with more than 1GB of RAM. You are not buying one of those because.....???

agreed

I meant scratched as in what you're saying should just be ignored as you're seemingly not prepared to back it up.

You do seem to have a bee in your bonnet about something though.

Ok. So what does an incompetent Safari development team have to do with the hardware team including 1 or 2GB of RAM?

Have you TRIED another browser, or did you just try Safari, throw your hands up in the air and scream "more RAM!!!"?

No sensitivity at all. You said "let me get this straight" and provided a breakdown of your thought processes. You didn't get it straight so I corrected you.

I'm not buying one of those "other" tablets because I have an ipad, an iPhone and a MacBook. I like the integration between the devices. I want an iPad but I'm not going to buy one if it has the same limitation that bothers me as my current iPad. If it doesn't have what I want, I will complain until it changes or I feel that it's futile to do so. Neither has happened.

Lets take a look at the camera roll that was removed with iOS 8... Guess what, it's coming back in iOS 8.1. Why? Because enough people bitched about it to not only bring it back but they even poked fun at themselves during the keynote for removing it.

Clearly, people complaining about apple products is something you take personally. You shouldn't. Not only is it not a personal attack on you, but I can assure you nobody cares how you feel. No body is going to type out a rant, and think "you know... ZBoater won't approve" and decide not to post.

Just take the time to realize the attacks aren't about you, and just because every single decision Apple makes just happens to fit your lifestyle absolutely perfectly, doesn't mean that same stroke of luck will happen to everyone else that you meet. Once you accept that, you'll be in a much happier place.

The problem is, bitching on this forum isn't actually going to help you as no one here has any influence on how much ram the iPad air 2 has. You need to speak directly to Apple.

Not sure what your point is. By your own admission you haven't read the thread, so you've already ignored everything prior to your participation. Advertising that you're going to ignore it is like stating the obvious not to mention a bit redundant.

It's not a problem, i'm registered on the Apple support forums as well. That doesn't mean MR is relegated to an Apple lovers sanctuary where everything smells of roses and butterflies.

My point is if you're not going to answer my questions, there's simply no discussion going on and we might as well pretend what you said doesn't exist.

Well If all you're going to do is bitch, you might as well not bother posting at all. Nobody wants to read your negativity and it's not remotely helpful to you or anyone else here.

You already pretended what I said doesn't exist with your first post here. Pretend != Reality though.

That's not all I do. I praised Apple for bringing back the Camera Roll with iOS 8.1

I think I'll stay. A few of my bitching posts have received up votes. It appears you don't speak for as many people as you perhaps thought you did.

Unfortunately that's because too many people thrive on negativity.

My, my. I'm guessing the self appointed moderators are hall monitors when they are in school. I have seen nothing in the rules that say you can only post positive things. This is in the rules though:

The point of moderation is not to limit discussion, promote or suppress points of view, or any other secret agenda. The goal of moderation is to keep the forums enjoyable and free from problems that detract from the experiences of our users.

I would think that applies to people that only think they are moderators also. My recommendation to someone that does not want to read what is in certain threads is to not return to said threads.
