You lot can try to convince me to buy a refurbished product all you want but yous lot are failling big time, i am not changing my mind at all!!.

As i said i will never ever buy a refurbished product, i prefer ANY product that i buy to be brand new, untouched and not been damaged!!
No-one is trying to convince you of anything.
No-one cares whether or not you change your mind.
No-one cares what you buy.
This an utterly pointless thread.

Anyway we are going of topic here, So lets get back to the main topic here!!!

So What do you think everyone? Are you waiting for the Ipad Air 3? And if there is no new Ipad Air this year what are you going to do? For me if that happens i will be buying the Ipad Air 2 because i can't wait another year for a new ipad air as i really really want to get a ipad!
You already answered your question.. So why are you testing us with your questions and response? If you know it's not coming this year why don't you wait?!

yes end this thread...the real answer is that there is no need for an ipad air 3 when the 2 is the biggest beast of a machine that ever existed and there is truly no need for anyone to want anymore ever in an ipad...the end :)

So why are you testing us with your questions and response? If you know it's not coming this year why don't you wait?!

Because i want to get people opinions on this topic and see what are they going to do as well.

And no i am not testing anyone with my questions.

There is no substantial proof at this point in time that there's going to be an Air 3 anytime soon. With all the rumors sites and camera phones allowing people to take pictures in factories and post them, there is no way we are not going to know about something a long time before it's released.

So just go out and buy an Air 2. If you want an iPad now, that's your best option. Then you can sell it next year when the 3 comes out and buy that.

Just because it is already a year old doesn't mean anything. If you find that you don't like it after you buy it and try it out, then return it and get your money back. No loss. Just because a 3 may or may not be coming out doesn't affect how the 2 runs. It won't start running slower on purpose the day the 3 is released. And I am sure the 2 runs iOS 9 just fine.

Don't you feel special that you have your own thread now and you even got a mod to come here and chide everyone? Lol.

I was at Bestbuy today looking for at the iPad air 2 with cellular,None of the stores around me had them in stock, and DC only had 14 on hand and this was for the white 64GB. The black 64GB Cellular I believe they only had 20 at DC. Thats a low stock, and when I worked at BestBuy when DC had that low of stock, thats when apple announced the iPad Air a month or two later. It could just be low on stock, but just saying.

I think there was a recent MR front page story about inventory levels/warnings that indicated that the Air 2 is in normal inventory status, which doesn't mean there won't be an Air 3, but does tend to indicate that the Air 2 is not about to be discontinued.

I'm staying with my Air until they rectify the screen vibration problem that plagues the Air 2. I keep harping on it but that's because it's a deal killer for me and many others. Seeing as there likely will NOT be an Air 3, I'll be staying with my Air which works fine anyways.

I have a perfect iPad Air 2 and am very happy. I will only replace it if they come out with the iPad Pro.

I think I'm in the same boat. My Air 2 (bought in January) was perfect right off the bat, so I didn't have to go through the replacement cycle that some folks have to suffer through. I really enjoy the device also and there's really only a few things where I sometimes think "I wish this was different."

But I'm also prone to spontaneous gadget purchases, so who knows what I would do if an Air 3 came out. The Pro, or Plus, would almost certainly find its way to me, though it depends a bit on price and what exactly it'll be. If it's "just" a bigger iPad, I'd probably wait a little and not pounce on it right away.

I think the new OS9 update will run really well on the Air2, as it has power to spare. Will be interesting. I am also looking for the new Surface Pro 4.

I've been running the PB on my Air 2 for a week. Battery life and performance are at least as good as iOS 8.x. Mail had crashed once and the new News app has crashed a few times. Split View works extremely well.

I'm usually able to get one OS upgrade on an apple device before it starts performing negatively.

if i do get Ipad Air 2 when i upgrade the OS to IOS 9. I really hope it won't decrease the performance and the battery life of the Air 2.

This is one of the main reasons that i am waiting for the Ipad Air 3.

But you created this thread to challenge the Air 3's existence, and now you are sure it will come out by 'waiting' for it?

No i did not create this thread to challenge the Air 3 existence, I created this thread just want to get people opinions on this topic as i said before and am not sure if there will be Ipad Air 3 this year due to recent reports.

As of right now I don't feel the need to have an air 3 for awhile. The air 2 is just about perfect to me.

Well Ming-Chi Kuo said it, therefore it must be true.
I still don't believe that an Air 3 won't come. It just doesn't make sense to leave the iPad with the most demand (including the pro) with outdated specs. Sure, the A8X is great, but the iPhone having better specs than the iPad? And how about Force Touch? Ok, maybe they won't bring it if history repeats itself, like they did when they put Touch ID into the iPhone and not the iPad. I mean, I thought :apple: were giving the iPad more attention this year. I thought they were trying to increase sales. How can they do that without releasing a new Air?

If you're convinced there will be no new iPad Air this year (and no one but Apple really knows for sure) and you absolutely won't buy an Air 2, then we can pretty much close this thread, as you've left nothing to discuss.
