That's crazy!

So after refreshing a couple of hundred times on the istocknow.com website and still seeing the iphone I wanted I decided to ignore what Apple told me on the phone about not having a matte black 128 gig iphone in stock. I drove the 20 minutes from my office and asked if they had it in stock. They did! I bought it on the spot and signed up for their upgrade program.

I asked an Apple employee why a 3rd party site had a better idea of what they had in stock than Apple and he said he didn't know. He said it takes time to get them scanned in and that could have been it. Either way I got the iphone I wanted. Now it's time to start playing with it.

I've got until the 15th to exchange my MB plus for a JB Plus. It's not going to happen, gonna have to stick with what I've got.

I think I am in the same boat, though I bought myself a couple extra weeks as a side effect of returning and repurchasing my exact phone. When I bought it, I signed up for the Upgrade Program since I didn't have funds to pay in full, but my spouse later agreed to buy it for me, and I was nervous about having a hard time getting an upgrade through the program next year.

So I took my phone in, returned it to get off the loan, and repurchased my exact open box model again in full. She just swapped the SIM card on it. The new receipt said I have a new two week period. I know I will never find a JB+ in time, but keep checking Target and istock inventory obsessively just in case. I would still prefer JB (in part to go caseless since it is grippier) but will be ok with my matte black if I can't find one in the next ten days or so. At least I still have been using a 7+ instead of a 5C for two months before my old November JB+ preorder would have arrived.

Lol walk into any Apple Store and grab one

Lol dude. You know any carrier works right? I was using a Silver Verizon model 7 plus then got it exchanged for a AT&T Black. Both working flawlesly.
