Non-OEM (FAKE/CLONE) Apple Watch Bands

There are many factories in China and some produce the same replica item, but there will be variations in quality, material used, etc. My experience with Chinese replicas is to compare all of the different versions and find the one with the flaws you can live with, then cross your fingers that it won't break down any time soon.

No one knows yet. Those are pre orders. But he ships from US from Utica and has been very good and prompt in shipping and the quality has been pretty good from his other items. I purchased an adapter from him and had a problem with it. Sent a message to them and without question sent me out a new one which I received quickly which worked great. His price is a little high on the loop, but most likely the price will drop quickly to match up with others on ebay that are selling the same items.

It has been 2 months. I'm giving until Monday to see if the replacement tracking number will work.
If it still doesn't work then I plan to file a dispute.

GREAT find, this is a great EBay seller, no issues for me from this Utica guy. Definitely getting one when I get back from vacation.

I (FINALLY) got mine. A blue loop on my space grey. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I'm actually fairly impressed since my expectations were set fairly low after all the ship delays and negative comments from a few other people who have gotten these fake loops.

I might know why now.
The seller told me that there is a typhoon right there.
So I checked it, and yes he is telling the truth, they are suffering from a category 2 typhoon, which can be very bad.
So your package might got lost indeed.

So you can fill in a dispute indeed, but be sure to understand their situation, it's quite bad.

it wasn't that bad and it came and went pretty quickly... it seems like the "it's been raining heavily" when we had barely had a drop of rain here for a month excuse that was rolled out a month or so ago.

Come on... You don't honestly believe that a package in China can get lost so easily because of a typhoon?! I mean there is always a chance this is true but southern China is so used to typhoons it would be ridiculous if parcels get lost easily every time this happens. (It's not like the packages are delivered with a sailing-ship which will hit a rock and then drown to the bottom of the sea with it's valuable treasures so a crab can wear your leather loop and pose in front of its friends!)

I have heard these stories for years. One guy: "There was a plane which caught fire during flight because of exploding batteries so that caused a delay in shipping." Other guys (at the same time) shipped me batteries with the same shipping company without any problem or delay (from the same hub). One guy says "DHL returned the package because blablabla...". At the same time other guys ship same product with DHL without problems. (All from the same HK hub.)

Face it: Some sellers just try to sh*t you when they messed things up. That's just how they roll.

Well he didn't mess something up so far for me, because I ordered a few days ago.
I know they go with air mail, but a plane won't take of with gusts of 217 km/h.
He wasn't saying that my or his package got lost, but that's just what I was thinking, but I have no idea how China handle those typhoons though.
But I can understand that a typhoon might delay a package, right?

but VPrime said he's been waiting two months... the typhoon was literally just the day before yesterday...

If you ordered just a few days ago and used snail mail as shipping method there is no need to be worrying. If you however waited for three weeks for your parcel to show up and nothing happened (tracking does never go beyond activation of the tracking number) it's either because of the rare chance your parcel got lost or just because the seller wants to see how easy he can mess with you. Good sellers also deal with not activating tracking numbers quickly and will resend after two weeks at the latest and not wait until the order protection time is about to run out.

A normal typhoon might cause a few days of delay. Not weeks. (And a good seller will tell you once he is aware of it - not when you ask him.)

Well, I got a tracking number from HongKong Air Mail.
What is the best website to see if the tracking number is activated?
I've been checking at 17track, but no clear sign of being activated, most stuff is unknown.
So I told the seller about that, and he said it could take a few days, especially with the typhoon they're having. (That's the reason I posted about that here :p)

Tracking number activation is usually done within 5-10 days after shipping (depending on the shipping company). Take care though since an activated tracking number is merely a prove that someone announced it online and not the receipt of a physical handover of the package to the shipping company.

Since you say you used HK Post I estimate there is an additional time since the package will most likely be transferred from Shenzhen to Hong Kong by an agent and posted there.

My preferred tracking method is not a website but an app for OS X and iOS called "Parcel". It costs 1.99 USD for a yearly subscription but can track a lot of companies - sometimes even those with captchas. This is not an endorsement nor can I promise it will work with your tracking number but I use it frequently.

I understand that there is a typhoon now. But there wasn't one 2 months ago. My "Purchase Protection" will end soon, and I still don't have a working tracking number, or any proof that they actually shipped anything.

I'm a fairly reasonable person, I'm not in any rush to get it. I just want to make sure that they actually sent it out.
