Think you can post the two carrier files you used so i can give it a shot and try and clean them up a bit? Or ill just go look for the other thread.

Yah the toggle should should when you pull down SB Settings, dont confuse this with the Toggle Settings which is used to Show a toggle ON/OFF...

Incorrect. OpenSSH does not use battery unless it is invoked. Been documented in many threads (to quote a line...).

There is a "listening service" that waits for a knock on port 22, and only when it receives that does it instantiate OpenSSH. That listening service is always running, is used for various things and cannot be disabled. OpenSSH itself does not use battery life unless being used, though.

Hmm i read that it does stay ON and people noticed a battery drain with it being ON over when its OFF...

I dont know i just turn things off i dont use... And most ppl dont change their password so that a vulnerability

How can you disable the Phone logging on this?? Also it logs my Alarm..

Is it even possible?

I dont see any way to shut either off - they log for me too. I end up clearing my notification list every hour or so anyway so it doesnt bug me

WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!

OpenSSH does NOT do ANYTHING to your battery life.

This is a HUGE fallacy. It runs as a deamon and uses NO CPU time until you are actually connected via a client.

If you have changed your root and user passwords there is no reason ever to toggle it off. I always kept it on and I never had any battery issues whatsoever.

I haven't seen people claiming this for a while.

Stupid me for even asking. I just tried it. And yeah it doesnt show it.

It just shows the notification thing up top.. for a missed call and i see a 1 on my Phone icon..

Another thing that sucks.. ARGH..

maybe notified isnt for you then - isnt it supposed to hide notifications into the menu/statusbar?

Thats what I got it for, and I am assuming others got it for that reason.

maybe try out another notification app that may give more control?

Well its supposed to hide notification you want it to.. But yet i dont see a Phone thing anywheres to see the phone notifications.

i keep hearing about these icons and they still havent been released. the Bitesms developer is aware of notified im sure they will fix it in their next release cause they usually work really quick.

Can anyone help me remove the red alert badge in the statusbar? It accumulates every push notification, just like the app, but puts in the sb.

Im not quite sure what your talking about.. I havnt seen this yet...

Isnt the badge only to show on the APP icon itself??

Am i missing something here.. mines already unchecked to begin with...

I just tested it - unchecked my Badge in settings, sent myself an email. My status bar overlay came up telling me I received an email, I tapped it to dismiss and there is no ! Badge there or on the app. When the Badge was checked, after I dismissed the Status Bar overlay, the ! was on the Status Bar until I went into the Notified app.

the guys at bitesms said theyd work with the notified guys to get quick reply to pop up when you select the text message in notified. now we gotta get the notified guys to contact bite.
