Just calculated the shipping process. The next flight from Louisville, KY to Oakland, CA will arrive at Oakland at 3:30 AM. If I'm on that flight, I should be able to pick up at my local facility tomorrow, where I take about around 30 minutes driving without traffic. Well....Just my assumption, the estimated delivery day is still on Friday.

For all of us shipping via FedEx and still currently in Shanghai. Looks like the next plane takes off at 10:00AM EST and will arrive in the Memphis, TN around 10:30PM tonight. Highly doubt they will be moving any product on Thanksgiving so unfortunately Friday deliveries seems unlikely. Monday it is!
Anyone else stuck in Narita via UPS? My order originally shipped on Nov 21 and arrived in Narita on Nov 22 at 19:46 local time. UPS Flight 109 left from Narita to Anchorage just a little bit over 1 hour ago (21:55 local time) but no departure scan with my tracking.
Mine says delivery on 30th next week

Man if I get mine within the estimated delivery window (25-2) I'll be happy. At least yours is already somewhere, mine probably doesn't even exist!
I'm in the same window. I seemed to be stuck in Shanghai then Narita then all over between Narita to Anchorage to Memphis and back. Scheduled delivery was 28th to N. Texas. Got a text that it's now held for pick up at customer center for FedEx. (Which I requested). So it came in 2 days before my window and 5 days before scheduled delivery date. Now I just have to drive 1.5 hours back home to pick up before thanksgiving. Just wanted to say good luck to everyone still waiting and may your orders come early!!!
As an aside: FedEx tracking sucks!!! It's next to impossible to make enough sense of to track flights on FlightAware!!!
I had something planned for the 28th that would make it difficult to impossible to be home for delivery so I changed it to hold for pick up the day it shipped. You can try but if it's sorting only and not a customer center it would have to go there to pick it up.My MacBook Pro TB is at the Las Vegas FedEx sorting facility as of this morning. But it still says "Scheduled Delivery Mon 11/28/2016 by 8:00 pm!"
Has anyone had luck calling FedEx to see if pick up is possible at a FedEx facility?
I would try but it may be to close now for them to shift gears that fast and hold it.
I was hoping that it would be at the customer center on Friday, so I could pick it up then instead of waiting until Monday. I will call and see if I can get anywhere with them.
I would say probably a really good chance for Friday but maybe even today if you're lucky.
I had it diverted to a local FedEx store. Then I called but the robot attendant told me that I could no longer request a pick up once the package had been diverted. So let that be a lesson to you folks still waiting for your RMBP.

Charged on the 18th November at about 5 GMT+1, switched to "Preparing for shipment" this morning (I saw that when I woke up at about 4:30 GMT+1) and now (22:22 GMT+1) it has been shipped!!
Initial delivery window: 25 Nov - 2 Dec
Delivery by DHL planned on: 1st Dec

They did everything today.. but it looks like DHL needs 3 days to deliver a shipment in my town, while it needs 2 days for a town which is distant about 10 kilometers. I has always received everything by UPS, because DHL here sucks !
I just hope to receive my MacBook during the next week.. how many days after the Apple shipment do DHL provide his planned delivery date?
FYI - For those of you who added AppleCare, make sure to check the coverage date. They set mine to the ship date (Nov 20) but from what I can tell... it's still in Narita and won't be here until next week. I just called AppleCare and they've let me know that I can call back once I do receive the machine and they will update the start and end date accordingly.
