Mines not stock. I got a 2.9/460/1 TB SG. I asked for the best one he had though, looked like he had 5 listings in his PDA for 15"

I ordered a 2.7GHz/512GB/460 & now I'm thinking of checking my local Apple Store so see if they have it or anything similar to it

Someone know if there are any in Germany available? Called and they told me there are no available
 
I called the Southlake Town Square store and they have preconfigured 13 and 15 but I think they also had some 13's that were non standard. He didn't know when they would get any 15's in maxed out etc.
 
Called the stores close to me in SoCal -- nothing..

I guess if I felt like driving into OC or LA that I might be able to find one... Come to think of it, I'll going to OC today anyways -- how bad will traffic be to drive to the Grove in LA? hmmmm.... Might be worth it....

Thanks TorMac. I was under the impression that the store would only carry base model (my BTO is with 16GB + 1TB). I'll try giving the store a call.

Top of the line they carry is the 13" space grey, 3.3 i7, 16GB, 512GB. I would be on my way there now if I didn't opt for the 1TB SSD... Back to refreshing my order page.
 
Appreciate that people who have Apple Stores within a reasonable distance of their locations are picking up their MBPs, and then cancelling their online orders. Gives more hope to the rest of us without such an option! :)

It's crazy that some people don't have an easily accessible Apple Store. I always forget I feel like there like Walmart around here but then some people have to drive 4-5 hours.
 
This is the best multitasking I've done in a long time. When you guys call for inventory, are you speaking to someone in store or an operator looking up inventory?

I told the guy who answered first what I was looking for and he asked their guy in charge of "stock/inventory"
 
Every Apple store I've called around here in SoCal (Temecula, Rancho, even The Grove in LA) reports that they have NO stock at all.. No idea how other stores have anything at all....
 
On my lunch, I heard one Store has an ultimate config. Might head down there to try for that one. Wish me luck
