Nov 6 Deliveries - UPS Real-Time Flight Tracking

Thanks. Fingers crossed. I went ahead and requested held at CC. It was already in the “Information Unavailable” stage since “Clearance Completed.” It still says it will be (tentatively) delivered tomorrow on the Manage tab on the UPS tab. CC opens at 8:00 a.m.

This is pretty frustrating, seeing the same jump from Incheon to Anchorage, AK and departed AK as well. But now it says

"The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / Your package was released by the clearing agency."

Delivery date is now gone. Really hope it will be for tomorrow as planned.

If I waited all my local stores had it in stock yesterday for pickup. I would have had the device earlier than if I pre ordered.

I have the same updates... says delivery date unknown now.

Well, I've been wrong before on guessing, but FWIW this is my take on the disappearing delivery date from the main tracking page, even though it shows up as tentative on the manage tab.

I think the Anchorage departure scan is real, unlike some previous departure scans, because the cargo from Korea was on UPS 99, which continued on to Louisville. It was not taken off to wait for another plane - IMO.

The clearance scan was late, added to the system after the plane had already departed.

They may or may not do a Sunday scan in Louisville, given that Sunday normally sees reduced activity.

The system is set up if the latest scan is a clearance related scan, delivery dates are not provided (or tentative in the management area).

As soon as the packages get a scan in Louisville, the dates will be restored. The scan could be today or early tomorrow.

I'm sure you'll be fine with doing that, but I'm scared of making any request for fear it will delay the delivery. Shouldn't happen but UPS on a busy day ..... but then again, if you paid for it, they will probably make it work out.

Back to showing 11/6. Also got import scan in Louisville. For those requesting 2 hour window. Usually works out, but not 100%. One time I did request 2-hour window and the UPS tried to deliver early so he had to come back because system wouldn’t allow him to mark it delivered until the 2-hour window. Lol

Certainly hope so.
Actually, I'm feeling pretty good about this. I'd rather focus on, and be excited by the prospect of receiving my iPhone X tomorrow, rather than being annoyed that I could have just waltzed into the Apple store (Grrrrrr!) and picked one up yesterday!

Good point, but just to put things in perspective, by getting on the pre-order process as quickly as we all did, we made the best decision based on the information we were given and executed better than most. If the reports were true about the shortages, almost no one would be getting anything at any store and we would be happy with a delivery any day this week.

Geez. Well, since my wife has a conference call tomorrow morning, earlier wouldn't have been good for her anyway.

On a lighter note. Anybody picked up a case already? Figured I’d give the refresh button a break (lol) & browse cases. I already ordered a Spigen but I’m looking at other options.

I’m in CA also :).. for me it’s Louisville to Los Angeles - on to my local CC in Gardena -then to my hands :D .. I’ll be waiting to pick it up first thing at 8am

I bought this Spigen case 30 days ago so I could get a sense of the X's size, and I loved how it felt in my hand. This is what got off the fence between the 8 Plus and the X.
