So the next leg of the journey departs Anchorage for Louisville close to 3 hours after the Incheon flight arrives. Will that be enough time to clear customs?
That flight gets to Louisville at 8:46am EST Sunday. This gives UPS less than 24 hours to get the phones out to the various cities, and onto the Monday delivery trucks. (In the east and midwest, anyway. They'll have about two more hours for west coast cities).

My friend, a UPS pilot who has flown that flight many times, says that ordinarily cargo stays on the planes in Anchorage, so clearing customs probably involves a customs agent looking over the plane manifest and giving it an ok.

I think the cargo will sit in Louisville until the early morning hours on Monday. They should be able to get to points around the country for distribution. That how it works often for next day domestic air service. Flights leave Louisville early in the morning and still make deliveries.

Must be in the "wee" hours. As I recall, those UPS delivery trucks get an early start.

Can someone explain this to me?
Why are the delivery times different on the two pages?
Would really hope it would come at 5:00 PM though, cause that's when I'm gonna be home, and I don't wanna pre-sign it and risk it getting stolen lol

I think my phone's on this plane too. Will they all go on to Louisville from there or is there a West Coast distribution center it would go to? I'm out in Henderson, NV so feels a weird it flying right past us to KY

Hmmm. I don’t know what to make of that. Does your order with Apple still have a ship date?

My theories about missing scans were not correct, but things look ok so far.

My phone stuck in Korea got a departure scan at 11/05/2017 8:15 A.M.
My phone stuck in Anchorage got a departure scan at 11/04/2017 2:56 P.M.

The good news so far is both are still scheduled for Monday delivery.

What it looks like:

The phone stuck in Korea
From Korea UPS 99 arrives ANC 9:43 PM 11/4
UPS 99 continues to Louisville (SDF) arriving 8:46 AM 11/5

The phone stuck in Anchorage
Arrives in Louisville 12:30 AM 11/5

I don't see any activity Sunday, and I don't see the schedules for Monday, but if the same as this past Friday, there are many flights out of Louisville to support Monday deliveries. For example, to California arriving LAX 4:37 AM and to Ontario two flights arriving 3:36 AM and 4:27 AM
The phone that was stuck in Anchorage got an arrival scan in Louisville 12:11 AM Sunday.
The phone that was stuck in Korea (departure 11/5 8:15 AM Korea time) did not get any scans in Anchorage. If it is enroute to Louisville for 8:46 AM arrival, I'm guessing 50% chance of getting a Louisville arrival scan. Otherwise, probably nothing until early Monday AM.

Mine did the same thing... I had updates as recently as 11/4 and they all disappeared now I only see it awaiting clearance. Apple says nov 6th still but ups is all jacked up.

I think at this point most or all will go to Louisville. The link below shows the flights for this past Friday, which will likely be the same for Monday. There was a flight to Las Vegas, so if the same for Monday, should be good for you.

I don't see the schedule for Monday but you can get an idea by looking at this past Friday. In the link, select the middle By Airport tab, the for airport type SDF, select Nov 3, then time period 0000-0600, and optionally airline UPS (5X) UPS

The arrival scan to Louisville took its sweet time to show up. I didn’t have one at all up until I just checked after seeing this post. I wasn’t worried that I didn’t see one through the night (I tend to wake up several times a night out) until I just saw you had one. I figured we wouldn’t see any until Sunday PM.

It would be cool if they were to get flights out this morning to distribute the phones everywhere because there’s supposed to be severe storms through the Louisville area today and tonight....but I know that’s not going to happen. I just hope that the weather goes through before all of the scheduled flights.

Yup agree. My other phone is on UPS 99 currently enroute from ANC to SDF but there were no scans in Anchorage for that one and I'm not betting on an SDF scan Sunday AM, but it definitely should be on a flight Monday AM out of SDF.

Mine is whacked up the same way! Until late last night it was showing the phone at the local UPS center. This is crazy.

My phone is on the flight that supposedly left Korea yesterday at 8:15Am local time.

I did notice, looking at the UPS app, it no longer says “In transit: On Time”. It just says “In transit”

If (and it’s a big if) our phones were on 5X99 last night then ups did not scan them when they got to ANC. That flight continued on to SDF and is due to land there about 8:30EST.

I am extremely pessimistic about UPS’ ability to deliver this phone as promised on Monday

I freakin have two delivery dates. Apple says the 8th and UPS has the 6th! Which is it? Mine says it departed from Korea at 8:15 supposedly.

I’d go with UPS. Apple is probably giving you the deliver by date. I just got a text message from UPS saying my phone is coming tomorrow between 1:15-4:15 PM!
[doublepost=1509888298][/doublepost]So I just got an email from UPS at 8:12 AM Eastern and a text at 8:13. Both saying I have a package coming tomorrow from foxconn. Nothing has changed with my tracking details, but something must have prompted the system to send me those messages. I wonder if our phones are about to land in Louisville? My Apple order also says tomorrow. Yesterday it said the 8th.

And now my tracking has updated with an Anchorage arrival and departure, so bizarre.

That’s why you shouldn’t worry and be pessimistic until your actual delivery date changes from UPS. The app isn’t updated in real time. I have the same scan as you arriving and leaving Anchorage. It arrived in Anchorage last night but the app didn’t display that information until this morning.

Well, that’s it! These UPS Jerks have now screwed us out of Monday!!!!!! Now says “rescheduled delivery: Nov 7”

Only shows leaving Anchorage last night at 7:18pm.

Incompetent Jerks

I also just got Anchorage arrival and departure scans from last night. 5X 99 continued on to Louisville and just landed. So regardless of getting an arrival scan, I'm pretty sure those phones are now in Louisville.
