I would be surprised if the new MacBooks were delayed out of 2020, especially after making such a big deal out of the new ARM chips. However, the global situation may have complicated things and that may be unfortunate. One thing I am curious about is whether Apple will release the new Mac OS update before the launch of new MacBooks?

I'm collecting Intel macs in advance of the transition. Happy to lug along with all the familiar and enjoyable software I've collected over the years. You fanboys can have fun with your 'future' stuff. For me, the macs I already have do all I ever need, as fast as I need, and as a bonus they're compatible with all my old stupid software AND upgradeable!

Enjoy the 'future' boys. If you ever want to chill in the past, I'm your gal ;)

I read the description for Airtags and I'm still confused what they do. Are they basically an added sensor to the phone to help find it? They look like saucers for beverages on the coffee table.

What would be the purpose of that?

To be perfectly honest, I don't personally see the point in trackers. I never seem to lose anything. My car keys go on a hook when I come in the door, my wallet goes on a shelf under my keys. I can't really think of anything else they might be needed for. Perhaps other people lose things more often but I'm sure Apple will market them in such a way that I will have to buy one!

Well, how about the following:

* APPLE CARD (finally) also available outside the US of A

* An APPLE STORE (finally) in the metropol region of Copenhagen (Denmark) 🇩🇰 and Malmö (Sweden) 🇸🇪

* An intelligent SIRI that (finally) works for those of us speaking/using several languages on daily basis, and thus A) can be asked to change the user language of iOS and B ) detects the spoken language by itself without one having to change that manually each time and allowing also for speech-to-text in more than one language at a time 🌍

Very low chance. The iPhone is already equipped with GPS to be able to track using find my app. There is no reason to put a tracker on the phone.Would you put a tile on a phone?

GPS is poor at the best of times. A tracker such as a Tile or Apple's version is far more accurate, <1m range. However, as someone else mentioned newer iPhones have the UI chip which allows for accuracy.

Based on what? The average update cycle time is higher than 3 years. The only time there was an upgrade less than 3 years was when there was something really missing from the current model such as 1080p and 4K.

There was almost a four year break from the ATV1 and the ATV2.

ATV2 had less than two years before the ATV3 launch, and I suspect the short period of time was due to the ATV2 not being 1080p, while the rest of the world, with the exception of iTunes, went 1080p.

The ATV3 had a new rev less than a year later, but that was technically a downgrade HW wise, as the first rev was dual-core A5 with one core turned off, and the rev2 had a single-core A5.

More than three years later, we got the ATV4 (HD).

But there was multiple issues with the ATV4 that warranted the ATV4K less than two years later, such as the relatively slow A8 and no 4K.

The ATV4K is still under the average upgrade cycle time, and it has a powerful A10X in it.

So, maybe long over due because of rumors, but not based off of history.
The original Apple TV was in 2007. The 2nd Gen was 2010. The 3rd Gen was 2012. The 3rd Gen Revision A was 2013. The 4th Gen was 2015 and the 5th Gen was 2017. Sure looks like a new Apple TV every 2 - 3 years.

iPad mini 8.5" with Magic Keyboard or Smart Keyboard!
Yeah, I know the keys of the keyboard are going to be small, but better than nothing.
