Still buying nothing, I like to be clockfree - when is the new Mac Pro comin'???

None of the above. I may buy an Apple Watch 2 after they work the bugs out and realize no one in their right mind is going to pay what they are wanting.

I need to know weights first. I may buy both a sport and stainless steel and return one that I don't like. (I was never considering an edition)

Edited: The weights are on the site now under the store link. The aluminum is 25g and SS is 40g which isn't a huge difference, I'm going to go with the SS with the white band. I may buy the milanese loop as well.

Store's up 649 and 699 milanese loop. That's actually not bad at all. I think that's what I'll be getting

These prices will go down for gen 2. They will have to.

I doubt it. Maybe only the Sport model. They're positioning these as much as fashion watch items, as well as tech items. Prices generally don't go down with fashion watches.

Tough choice but I will probably buy the :apple: watch with a leather loop at $699 and then add a white sport band.

Exactly, 99.99% of the population can only laugh and snicker, and can't afford this. This is like the original iPhone prices back in 2007, not enough value for the price. The prices WILL come down once sales don't reach what Apple expected. Laughable prices (Insane is another word). The only Apple Watch I'd consider, costs $599, how ridiculous.

When the first iPhone was released the pricing was unsubsidized.

Don't expect the Apple watch prices to fall anytime soon. Apple will sell a ton of these.

Im getting the watch edition, although my wifes giving me flak about 'starts at 599' :p
Wonder what that model will be? SS with rubber band?
How much will the SS with SS links or millianese band cost? Probably the 1049 eeh?

The milanese loop is only $149 by itself. It is $649/$699 to buy with milanese loop.

That's the one surprise of the announced prices, for me. I didn't think the milanese loop would be the same price as the regular buckle leather band.

I'm considering just getting the black rubber band, and then waiting for 3rd party connectors that allow any band to be attached.

Probably Apple Watch (stainless) with Sport band this year, and if I'm feeling wealthy at the end of the year, I'll buy another nicer band. This way I can step into it at a pace I'm comfortable, but I'll have the nicer watch body from the start.

Interesting that the space black is the highest priced SS one and no option to buy with a sport band (I wasn't interested in space black myself but I know some people were)

Apple watch with link bracelet. Debating on 38mm cause I really like the modern buckle. If I get the 38mm, I'll buy it with the link bracelett and buy the modern separate. If 42mm I'll just get the link bracelett with it.

None of them. Maybe in a few years if the price of a gold one has dropped to just the value of the metal content I might pick one up to play around with it before reselling it.

Whew, awesome!

SS 38mm Milanese Loop for $649, yes, take my money Apple ... Plus 2 more bands and a 38 mm space gray Sport, maybe with a black band for me (a little bit use/teat) then I will give as gift to a sibling.
