entered my number and like others now I'm looking at the spinning ball!!!

ahh.... so i'm not alone in that part then// lol!!

why they couldn't keep it consistent and have the ajaxy stuff on the payment page too is beyond me..

this whole process is getting into a joke now!!

OHH>. the page came back and just redirected me to the page where you enter your payment details!!!

WTF!?!??! so has my order gone through or what??

I've ordered now too. (new customer, its my first iPhone)
Found the delivery options a bit odd though. It said choose free standard delivery to get it on the day, yet there was an option to select next working day delivery for delivery on 11th and that was free too. I still choose the standard despite it saying 1-3 working days delivery as thats what the website said to do, but I'll be very annoyed if I don't get it till the following wednesday or something like that!!!!
EDIT: upon using o2 order tracking it says I have next day delivery, so maybe they do know what they are doing after all

Anyone getting the feeling they cobbled the payment and info pages up over the weekend, after finding they weren't going to be doing pre-orders in store?

This is getting annoying now... Got a simplified "failover" page displayed, entered my details, submitted and it came up with an error...

I've managed to request an upgrade code for the third time now, but the wheel is just spinning. No text coming through. The page isn't changing. Maybe waiting a couple of hours might not be a bad idea, or waiting until Friday, and getting in the car early doors straight to an O2 store. Pretty pointless upgrade if it can't be done. I think O2 should've thought a little more about it, especially considering how much they have talked about high demand etc. What else did they expect?!

That failover order page (apart from not working) doesn't fill me with confidence as it looks like those emails will then just be processed later in the day rather than being a "live" order that you place with the proper system.

Either they underestimated demand or have put the pages together at the last moment without proper testing.

I've entered my bloody details into the upgrade page 4 times now. It keeps trying to direct to upgrades.o2.co.uk/index.htm#getMPN but nothing happens.

MOVEMENT!

oh, back to blank form to complete again. This is so beyond a joke.

Anyone tried calling o2? The line just cuts off.

how do i know my order hasnt gone through?
if i do it over again i could end up with 2 iphones and pay twice!!!

would calling o2 CS confirm the order or not?

I called after my first attempt (in which I got pretty far), and the lady said it would take a couple of hours before it would be on their system! But you should receive an e-mail to confirm, or in My O2, under "my orders" bit.

Maybe their techy team don't start until 9am?

Maybe their UK team are on hold trying to log a fault call to India about it?

Maybe they're changing out the hamsters as we speak?

I think leaving it for an hour or so would be the best option tbh. Calling CS won't get you anywhere as it sounds like the upgrades have to be done online.

Just tried it from work too as they have an incredibly fast internet connection, but doesn't make any difference, so we need to wait for O2 to fix things I guess.

Ok. Almost 1 hour into upgrade availability. Has anyone managed to get an order through?!

What should we do re our PAC codes? I read here that we use it as part of the activation process, so I guess it can all be done on iTunes as and when it arrives. What did others do for the first iPhone?
