You clearly are delusional and non-factual.

Good luck with your $8K watch ;)

That's up to test.

But as I said, some components in Apple products are different.

So better or worse, they are different.

Ah...yes. Non-factual. From the poster who apparently can't read when someone spoon feeds them the info. Trolls are cute. Thank heavens for the block function! And I wish I could have gotten my favorite Rolexes for $8000. That would have been a good deal.

I'm saying Rolex doesn't "cast" their watch cases. They are formed from bars, as I said. Stamped out of those bars, and the computer controlled machines (programable machines/"robots"...maybe CNC was the wrong word since most people mean it to be "CNC milling") finish the case. Nothing is cast into a "watch case mold".

For those not familiar with how advanced Rolex's manufacturing is, here are two really good articles (with photos and videos) on it:

Obsolete jewelry on the horizon.

If the battery was said to be replaceable, who's to say that the entire logic board can't be swapped out as well? They could surely 1. gut the contents of the watch and pop in a new board and battery, or 2. offer a trade-in where they give you a new main piece and keep yours to gut the internals and melt down and recycle the gold, for a nominal fee much less than the cost of a new watch.
