Once it arrives in Anchorage it will remain there for about 18 hours as UPS will not fly Saturday night. It will depart for Louisville about 3pm on Sunday afternoon looking at past flights and arrive into the Worldport for processing to the outbound flights departing that morning. Customs is cleared in Alaska from what I have been told in the past.

Cool; I've always wanted to go to Alaska. I lived in Iceland for three years and the 24 hour days really appealed to me (though the endless nights in winter took a toll). I started trying to get a job up there but abandoned the attempt when my wife made it clear that she wasn't particularly interested in leaving San Antonio.

I called about the ZhengZhou 7:10s (like you all already did) with the intent of I don't know what. I got the same story, trying to get it through customs to leave China.

"So will it be headed to Shanghai or Anchorage next?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Will the phones now go to Shanghai or Anchorage?"

"When it gets through customs it should be headed towards the states"

To add to my phone call with them, they told me that my 9/23 estimated delivery date on the UPS website wasn't correct because "delivery dates are estimated only once the package has cleared customs". COOL!

Same here. Once it gets to the U.S., still gotta travel ground. If I'm not mistaken all of these orders were shipped with ground shipping.

I fly up there most weeks, this time of year it rains almost every day. When it finishes raining in october it's dark almost all day. That said, it's awesome during the summer compared to ATX
