Other UPSer here, I found an article online that states that UPS is operating flights out of ZhengZhou Monday-Friday and then I checked the thread from last year and peoples' tracking updated Monday morning at 4:45 AM EST (4:45 PM in China), and their phones hit Louisville late Monday night/Tuesday morning, some got their phones Tuesday morning (on time) while others got their phones Wednesday (on time). The only ones I can't explain are the Monday deliveries that are on the same container as ours.

Ha, I no longer know what to think. I'm in the Shanghai 12:45 AM batch, but have a Thursday scheduled delivery. Why do many others in this same location have a Monday or Tuesday scheduled delivery, some of whom are much further away from Louisville than I am here in Dallas? We all ordered the same thing from the same online store at almost the same time.

But it does have me thinking twice about ever preordering an iPhone again. In 2012 I walked up and bought an iPhone 5 the day after release day. Maybe that's the way to go.

I'm one of the stuck in Shanghai for two days 12:45 am people. I just got of the phone with UPS International. They explained to me that it IS NOT still in Shanghai, it is in the US. They explained that the shipments did not get updates over Saturday and Sunday. They also explained that the shipments will be updated tomorrow. They also reinterated that I will get my iPhone tomorrow, Tuesday or at the latest Wednesday. I'm in Los Angeles, I ordered the 128 GB iPhone 6 Plus on the 12th from Apple.com at around 2:00 am. Hope this sheds some light on our dilemma.
I can't speak for the tracking system. It does get overloaded sometimes and it does update by batch times. I can scan a package at 5:00P.M. and you won't see the update until Midnight and the time of scan would say 9:45. The 9:45 is when the trailer left and the scans were uploaded to the system. There is always a delay
I can understand that completely. I just wanted to give some insight to some of the others on how we operate.

Ohhhh, I get it now. Mainly the people with Monday delivery dates went ahead to Shanghai and that's the one that left already and likely missed a scan while us Wednesday/Thursday delivery dates are probably leaving ZhengZhou in about 6-7 hours.
Agreed. This is probably less about missed scans and more about lack updates over the weekend. The batch updates may not process regularly on weekends.

Actually a lot of people are stuck on the 7:10 ZhengZhou flight with Mon thru Thursday dates. I am currently Thursday myself.
Ex chef, yes. Trained and worked as. I'm now in non-profit social work. But I also receive packages from all over the world, deal with my UPS driver at least twice a week, and have obsessed over tracking for MANY phones in the past.
I don't like this theory because it doesn't get me my phones earlier.

There is a guy who lives about 45min from me that I have seen on this forum. He has the 7:10 with an end of day delivery for tomorrow. What I was getting at was that my phone is on the same plane so technically it would follow the same route on the same day for delivery. Ups isn't going to hold my Air package for 4 days after it landed

I too am one of those that states sitting in Shanghai with a delivery date of Monday...Gold 6+ 128gb. You guys have been the best entertainment and have kept me sane and in hysterics..Love that so many of us are crazy about our techno stuff...

My weekend was packed with: real work, school work, helping kiddos with their schoolwork, sister in the hospital and my car breaking down..... Yet I continue to obsessively refresh tracking and chit chat with you peeps.
