Updated to Korea this AM. Still saying 9/25 delivery here in VA. Anyone still have the code for free UPS MyChoice thing???

So are the shipments that got bumped up to "expedited" being shipped UPS Worldwide Express Saver?
I'm just curious to see if the people calling and having them change it from standard really did anything. I didn't have mine changed and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow.

I just called UPS to have my delivery changed to hold for pickup and was told that I would not be able to pickup my package before the scheduled delivery date. Which contradicts what's been happening to others who are changing to hold for pick up. Hmmm... Guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'm on the 8:04 Korea arrival and it's going out to the east coast in NJ.

I think it may make it here. I just called UPS, and they said it will be here by tomorrow at 7 PM. I am on the East Coast. Also, don't forget that Korea is 13 hours ahead of us.

We will most likely get the phone tomorrow. It is 5.5 hours from Anchorage to Louisville, KY so the planes should arrive in Louisville 9/23 @ 12am ish and according to flyingwasabi, usually these packages will be dispatched from Louisville to our local airport by 4am which also means out for delivery 9/23

Not true in fact quite common that it will be in Japan today and at your doorstep tomorrow. It will get to Alaska late this afternoon. Will be in the continental US by around midnight and then sent on to its final destination.
Elsewhere on the thread someone has delineated the timing of how this all works, but I can speak from experience that I have seen a phone get from Asia to here and be delivered within 36 hours of travel time.
I am too. Let me know what they say.

My delivery had been pushed up to today, but I woke up to see that my phone is now having a nice vacation in Japan and won't be here until tomorrow.
I've never been more annoyed over a pre-order in my life. If we had had a single word while our phones sat in China for days, it would have helped. At least we wouldn't have been thinking that they were sitting in Louisville, waiting for Monday delivery.

Technically the Original estimated delivery is October 1-6 and Apple's estimate on their emails are September 25th.
Even UPS estimate was September 23rd or 25th for most people but most of the 23rd estimates were moved "up" to 22nd but looks like some customs issue preventing it from being shipped out over the weekend for today's delivery but 23rd is still very impressive considering the estimates was 25th or October 1st.
PS: i think we have a huge chance of getting the phone tomorrow. See my posts above or previous page. We're leaving for Anchorage, AK in 2 hours (both Incheon and Osaka batches) and should be there by 4:48pm Eastern Time. Then it's another 5.5 hours to Louisville hub and by 4am the phone should depart for your local airport for morning arrival.

You're pissed? Wasn't your original ship date October 1st - October 6th? If not, then you're in the wrong thread. You have nothing at all to be pissed about. Your phone could sit around until October 1st and still make the delivery date that was originally promised.
So, I think what happened is that Apple had all cargo space used to ship phones to the retail stores all weekend. We already count as "first weekend sakes". They wanted all available inventory at the stores to boost their numbers.
And my phone is still sitting in Shanghai.

Mine's in Osaka, Japan and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Unfortunately, it'll probably arrive at the college mailroom too late because the mailroom closes at 5 :/ I wonder if it'll be early because again, the mailroom closes at 5 and UPS probably knows that.
How soon we forget that a great majority of us only had Oct 1-6 delivery because the apple site came up 2 hours after the phones went on sale. We should have been in the 9/19 delivery group. That's why people were getting free swag from apple.

Yeah, at this point I haven't seen UPS do anything that makes me believe that they're going out of their way to get anyone's phones to them before their delivery date. If your date is tomorrow, sure; if your date is the 25th like me, then don't hold your breath, I say.

Seriously, if you're so distraught just walk into any Apple store, buy your 6+ and then return the other when it finally arrives.
No I agree. If yours are not in Osaka/Incheon in like 1 hour when the plane departs for Anchorage then you won't make it to tomorrow's delivery.
