Houston here as well. Let's hope that ours were on one of those flights. Some people's tracking has a departure scan from KY and an arrival scan at their local hub with the same time stamp, which means they didn't update any tracking until it arrived at their local hub. I hope that's the case. Unfortunately for me, if flyingwasabi is right in the above post, then not until Wednesday...

I don't even have my delivery scheduled until the 25th so I'm not too worried.

It has been quite fun to track everything like this though. It's really amazing the kind of technology that allows us to see everything right down to the exact plane our phones are on.

Fair enough. I will admit that I never really believed that our stuff would be here today, but techedude seemed so damn sure that it was pretty convincing. ;) Oh well, no gold for him.

Haha, forgot about the reddit gold. His loss.

Finally ... !! Just hoping that they deliver in time now ..

Same here. A 2nd departure scan from same city 24 hours later. My delivery was adjusted + 1 day to Friday.

All this for my wife's phone originally ordered when preorders opened. We had a reservation # and delivery set for the 19th but not even Apple could get it to process. It appeared the carrier plan imported into their system partially once then a second time resulting in errors.

24 hours later after much trying it expired resulting in this second order that immediately processed. Apple wouldn't even upgrade to express shipping. We could have had one locally already.

Me too. There have been 3 departure scans since the 20th, all out of ZhengZhou. My delivery date also got pushed back to Friday from Thursday. I don't understand why our phones haven't gone out with the rest!

For the 5:20PM scan folks,

These scans are probably just our phones being moved around in the same facility or different parts of the airport. We're probably being queued up waiting for an outbound airplane. It seems like they have more phones than shipping capacity.

I had two phones both scanned in ZhengZhou on Saturday at the same time. However, one was "prepared to ship" 24 hours earlier. It left for AK on Monday whereas the other stay in China.

As with a bunch of folks here, mine is also stuck in Louisville since its arrival this morning.

I am pretty calm, though, because I'm actually more worried about my other shipment from Amazon which was supposed to be delivered today from PA and it's still not scanned in RI yet (maybe I can get some sort of discount from Amazon if they miss the promised release day delivery)

For everyone who is getting the phone today, congratulations! For people who are not, don't lose sleep over another day if necessary. I know I won't!

However, we gotta remember that the air packages arrived last. I am personally giving until around 8:30am to see if it has been scanned and loaded to the truck (or in my case, being held for delivery at the local hub).

Aaaagghh! No fair! No fair! I'm in Atlanta too! (My phone,on the other hand, is sound asleep in Louisville.)

Edit - just saw the 30338 ZIP for yours. Aaaggghh again, because I'm in the same zip too.

Agreed, but you would show a departure scan out of Louisville if your phone made it out, an arrival scan at your nearest airport that UPS services, another departure scan, an arrival at your hub, and last but not least an "Out for delivery" scan.

Sorry to be a Debbie downer. :(

Do you think ours is leaving today? ;o

Same status showing louusville only

#TEAM915 here. My shipment still says it will arrive tomorrow but USP says it just departed ZZ this morning at 4:45am EST (12 hour time difference). Delivery by tomorrow? I say thee nay.

There is a UPS flight that took off from KY at 4:29am and arrived at 5:53am at Orlando International Airport, I'm betting is the plane where my iphone is.

At least my package was already on flight from Alaska to KY and the UPS info said it was still on Alaska, then an hour later I saw the update that already left Alaska hours before. UPS are very slow updating tracking info this couples of days.

Not necessarily because as the other guy from Jamaica, NY said earlier, his Louisville Departure Scan did NOT show up until his Arrival Scan in Jamaica showed up.

Did you have a departure scan out of Louisville?

It usually takes 20-30 min after departure/arrival to update the scan.

i think there might still be hope.

i'm pretty sure everyone in this thread + lukers like me checking the UPS tracking site constantly doesn't help the tracking update system work any better.

i've had packages have no trace of any sort of tracking except for the origin scan up until it was out for delivery, and everything showed up instantly.
