Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

Flyingwasabi, do you know what times the UPS flights out to MIA go? I didn't see it on flightaway.

But it IS frustrating for UPS to continually give me a "scheduled" delivery date. To me, scheduled means it's a for sure thing. They should call it an estimated date instead.

And they clearly need to make their different systems communicate with one another better. I received a delivery notice on my phone this morning that my package was out for delivery, and then a few minutes later an e-mail saying the same thing. But my package is still in Louisville and not expected until tomorrow.

Same here two messages from UPS this morning stating it was going to be delivered today but it's still in Louisville.

No big deal, our phones are just taking a scenic vacation of the Far East before it hits the USA. Back and forth to the same cities...lol

Just got my import scan. And delivery was updated from today to tomorrow.

Guess that was to be expected.

Still much better than October 1 to 6. :cool:

I have the exact same tracking. 9/25 delivery to Orlando.
 
my phone is still showing delivery today, but hasn't been imported yet... so obviously it wont be delivered today
wish they would update it
 
I think I screwed myself. I cancelled will call and now I have an exception with no delivery date. Waiting for a scan to hopefully change that.

Yup! My arrival scan was 1:56 this morning in Louisville. Scheduled for Thursday delibery as of right now
 
Well I finally got my Import Scan and it got bumped back a day (from today to tomorrow.) flyingwasabi was right about mine, most would get it Wednesday. At least I now know what day to come home early to hopefully sign for it. I believe our UPS delivery person usually gets there around 3-4pm...

The scheduled delivery date is just one generated by the computer system if everything goes smoothly. Most of the time, things do go smoothly, occasionally things do not. It's impossible to see beforehand. I don't work for UPS, but even I know things happen. It's not like UPS is knowingly and intentionally withholding your phone.

The thing is after the phone was released from China they gave earlier delivery dates.

Same delivery time also - ZhengZhou to Shanghai to ZhengZhou off to Incheon and back to Shanghai. Took off 12:03 local time to...um, no idea?

Almost all of their insight has been wrong. techedude said we all had a strong possibility of receiving them on launch day (lol). Then said most likely monday. Then to go to sleep last night and stop worrying about it cause we'd have them today. Well here I am with an original 9/22 shipping date still waiting to leave Louisville.
 
For those defending UPS, it's not just inaccurate delivery dates that is the problem. Yes problems occur but a company as big as UPS has to actually communicate with customers. For instance, I called when my phone was stuck in Shanghai and all the supervisor wanted to tell me about was how to sign up for delivery status updates. You know how many of those I have gotten, despite three different delivery date and multiple exceptions? None. Not a single email to tell me they screwed up. And the people on the phone, while it's not their fault, should at least be able to tell me more than what the tracking shows, or in the case of one person, he even told me what the tracking showed several hours before, not even what it was when I called them.

Same arrival scan here but haven't gotten an import scan yet. Figured I'll also have my delivery estimate updated to tomorrow after they update the estimated delivery time to tomorrow. Sigh.
 
Can someone let me know when the next flight to Raleigh/Durham is from Louisville (if there is a flight to RDU)? I'm assuming that the reason it is still in Import Scan in Louisville is that they are waiting for a flight.
