Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

10 hours and counting on an import scan.... if its really going to catch a flight tonight it needs to hurry.

I have a sinking suspicion that it'll sit in Louisville for a day since i'm scheduled to deliver on Thursday. With so many to process they'll do the phones that are scheduled for Wednesday before the Thursday phones. Gotta love the luck of the draw!

Here's my tinfoil hat theory.

Our iPhones were stuck in China because the Chinese government was installing backdoors.

In Kentucky, the NSA is installing backdoors in the iPhones. Especially since Apple now cannot decrypt passcode-locked iOS8 devices.

What phone number do I call to speak to a real human at UPS to see if my phone is actually arriving today?

i just tried the 800 - 742 - 5877 number
but I couldn't convince the robot to connect me to a human

Agreed.... they have so many packages to sort through its just going to take a while. They told us Thursday all along, they really have no motivation to move any quicker.
 
Mine was scheduled to be delivered today. Just go an update, and got the import scan. Delivery date changed to tomorrow.

I worked from home today just to wait for UPS to delivery my iPhone. Hopefully my boss will let me WFH again tomorrow :D

the only saving thing is my work and home ups dudes are AWESOME. whereas any of the number of usps nimrods that deliver to my house are a flipping bunch of IDIOTS!

As long as you have an import scan, I assume after that they are waiting to be loaded onto their appropriate flights.

Of course they could just ship the Thursday phones now so maybe they could get ahead of their orders but that would just make too much damn sense...

Still no import scan. Almost going on 12 hours. Crazy. It better make the flight to Boston tonight. I'm one of the orig 7:10 people.

Sigh... First world problems... You are so angry because a phone is delayed by a day or two even though it will still be 8-10 days earier than originally promised...

Sometimes unforeseen **** happens dude... Loosen up a bit... :)

I was so happy that mine wasn't stuck in China like some other people's, my shipping updates were going so smoothly and now it's just sitting in Kentucky. UGH! Not that I can really play with it on Wednesday between work/school anyway, but I'm so impatient!

While I would not be surprised if this happened, there's still a few hours yet that they could be imported. The way things are going, though, I'm certainly not going to be taking any time off work to get them tomorrow.

One has to wonder what the capacity is that UPS can handle in Louisville, too. I know it's a HUGE hub and they process hundreds of thousands of parcels each day, but when you get that many packages dropped on your doorstep in the matter of a day or so, it's got to take some serious manpower to get that all wrangled and distributed!
