On Pre Order night I had 4 browsers on auto refresh and was constantly tapping my iPhone to get thru. The App finally opened up and I placed order, to my dismay with a extremely disappointing shipping date.
I called Apple 30 minutes ago. They guy was super nice, and told me that the load was absolutely insane and everyone in this thread is on Apple's "second wave" shipping time. Which ****ing sucks. There's nothing he can do to change my order, but he assured me that it's very possible the phone could arrive as early as Monday or Tuesday, and that they always under promise/over deliver with estimates. He said he is getting a TON of order cancellations for people in our spot and further, because they'd rather camp out at a store than wait 2-6 weeks.
It's mid day Wednesday and mines still processing. It's looking grim for a Friday arrival (this is complete ****ing ******** - I ordered within FORTY TWO MINUTES, and I even paid the full price of $1,026 with tax). It is what it is. I just was really hoping to show the phone off to my family in town Saturday. Ya'll should call and see what they say!
