I included a case with the 6+ order and the case arrived last night. Showed the case to my wife and she said "It's huge." (That IS what she said).

It is large, but I'm happy with it. I think that it will fit in my pocket just fine. For a good chunk of the year, I have a coat on anyway. My eyes are going to very much appreciate the extra real estate on the screen and the early reports on battery life are great.

Has anyone's order gotten passed "Processing Items" yet? Mine hasn't. My cards haven't even had a hold put on them or anything either.
 
I still don't see the reasoning behind wasting hours on the phone to expedite shipping when all iphone orders are expedited and & shipped VIA UPS or FEDX w/signature required.

Also - continuously calling to get something for nothing seems just a little spoiled & self entitled for no reason. With 4 million pre-orders, trust me you weren't the only ones who's ship date slipped if that's in fact why you'd think you deserved something extra. I personally don't think that warrants "free stuff".

I'm not trying to get the shipment expedited once shipped, as in i am not trying to get 1 day shipping instead of standard. I am trying to get the order shipped sooner which is another matter all-together.

He wasn't able to move my shipment up at all. He said the system is completely locked at this point and no one can have their shipment dates altered as their logistics company handles all that. He did offer to add a case without me asking - and I told him I would rather get my shipment moved up but I would appreciate a case if they were willing to provide. And that is the truth - the faster shipping would be much preferred over a case - especially since I already pre ordered the Sena UltraSlim iPhone 6+ Leather case. I guess an extra won't hurt.

Same here. I'm processing, no charge or pre-auth, no info on support page. Nothing. I can't wait until we start to see some movement! I really hope we start to ship a smidge early...

Ditto for me. Nothing has changed. Nothing on the credit card either.
 
I don't think it's unreasonable to put the onus on Apple to decide what warrants free stuff, or it could also be seen as, customer satisfaction.

To that end, I have no problem asking for something given I do feel wronged in that I could not connect to their systems until 0530 EDT, on their 7th iPhone release. I do not feel entitled, but do appreciate their amends to my frustration with their continued inability to scale their systems to demand like any reputable cloud provider.

I agree it's reasonable for them to decide when to give away something to satisfy a customer... What I don't agree with is when they've decided not to, someone sees someone else got something, and repeatedly calls back until they get the same something when scenarios could differ. Or someone calls simply because they are seeing others getting freebies when they never felt wronged enough to call on their own. I was also up @ 3am Eastern and didn't get my order in till hours later but that's the nature of the beast... even if things went up at exactly 3am I may have still ended up with Oct 1-6 if others completed their orders before I could complete mine.

I've purchased every iPhone since the first, gotten them on release date, and promoted them from the beginning, scoring apple sales from many of my friends early on before iPhone was a norm. After 7 years, and with the available scalable technology that exists today, there is no reason to have online pre-ordering come to it's knees as it did - especially from one of the largest technology retailers. Anyways - I agree that people who are just calling to get a freebie because they see others are and didn't make a concerted effort to preorder (up at 3am EST for example) should rethink what they're doing.

I would agree. If someone was able to order their phone and get it on launch date, then they probably do not have a seemingly valid reason to ask for expedited shipping or amends for an issue that does not exist.

Except that 99% of the people (including myself) that ordered a Tmobile 64gb 6+ weren't able to get through until 2+ hours after the fact.

That's very true, my order went in at 12:24 PST, but the best part of my order was that I selected in store pickup, had the store selected and everything, had the confirmation on my screen. Should have taken a screen shot, because my email came seconds later, for delivery with Oct1-6.

Like in store? I'd try AT&T personally. Or Best Buy.

Many places online have them (some readily available) including Amazon. I like the Spiegen cases.

I have an Apple leather case on the way and a Kenu Airframe + car mount that should be arriving today. Yipee :) now if only the phone was arriving soon... LoL

I'm wondering if 7-10 days for shipping is 7-10 days after it releases on Friday. If no one gets in to preparing shipping by Thursday or Friday it likely won't be shipping till late next week at the earliest.
 
Looks like a bunch of At&t 6+'s starting to be shipped, which is frustrating that even all the carrier sites seem to be shipping more then apple.com
 
To make things worse, reports have surfaced this morning of major manufacturing delays of the new iPhones.

So, not exactly looking like dates are going to be bumped up.

This despite an Apple contact (not customer support) telling me that Apple was somewhat conservative with the delivery time estimations.

Yeah that report wasn't encouraging for this thread. I guess we can't complain if they hit the date they've given us (lol) but I think most of us expected the date to be bumped up. :(

Another site said Foxconn is making 140,000 six pluses and 400,000 sixes a day, mines still on processing October 1-6 so I doubt it will be here by Friday. I ordered an AT&T 128 6 plus slate through apple.com using a reservation I got when their store app couldn't validate my info with att. The main site didn't become available until about three hours after preorders went live which was frustrating because I had to use apple gift cards. I guess I will wait in line overnight at an apple store.

I doubt it. The earliest anyone in this group will see their order change will be later this week (Thurs or Fri). At the latest it will be ready for shipping early next week.
 
Ordered my T-mobile 6+ 64gb at about 3 hours after release. Still says available to ship 7-10 days oct1-6 delivery date..... My paypal card hasnt been charged, not even a hold etc.

I plan to make a line at the apple store to see if I can crab a tmobile 64gb on friday if my online order doesnt change by then.
 
Sadly, Being Wednesday I lost all hope that my Oct 1-6 date was going to get bumped for 9/19. Oh well. Will just wait it out :(

I'd think that they would rather have the extra supplies to sell at the physical locations for people that stayed up overnight.
