Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

Well mine is still stuck in processing, but I did get a text message from the wonderful company known as AT&T that told me because I did not choose their NEXT plan, my 15 dollar a month smartphone fee is going to 40 dollars a month. I'm sorry but wth?!?! They are determined to get their money one way or another..... :mad::mad::mad: Sorry rant is now done lol

Yep, 2 year contracts are $40 for the line vs. $15 for NEXT. It's to pay for your phone subsidy (or so they claim).

Is this something new? I assume there is some sort of grandfathering as I see no increase in my monthly bill and I don't do Next.
 
I don't see why there would still be no change on thursday night/friday morning.....launch is over we are next. ship our **** hahaha

Haha exactly. I think we'll get the "preparing for shipment" message Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. If not then, probably early next week, with the phones arriving later that week.

Yesterday I gave up hope for Friday.

I'm betting we won't see updated shipping info until Saturday and it will be for mid-late next week. (Unfortunately.)

Can't believe so many people were hoping to get moved to Sept. 19. :eek: All I want is to get my phone before the beginning of October. I'd be ecstatic if I got it by the end of next week but I really just want it before October starts.
 
It's a pipe dream if anyone thinks they are getting their phone on 9/19. Id be surprised if ANYONE got a shipment before 10/1 based on the inventory constraints.

Yeah, the idea that we might get them on Friday was a pipe dream; I'd just like to see them arrive next week. :)

Agreed, all of the next shipments will be coming to replenish stores. When our wave is finished, it will ship from China, but I doubt we get before October 1 since they replenish stores everyday.

Thats why I'm trying my luck Friday morning.

Yep, I never expected them Friday but I had HOPED for a bumped up shipping date of ~ Sept. 23-24 by now.


Looks like the line for me Thursday night.

It was a pipe dream to think they would come launch day. Apple clearly had a small inventory for launch. I'd imagine they help more back for stores than they had set for online.

But I disagree with you on your last point. I think the majority of folks will see their phones by the 1st of Oct.

It's tempting for that immediate gratification, but I'm gonna wait it out. I want specifically what I ordered, and I know myself and if I got up there and all they had was a 64GB instead of a 128GB, I would take it then be pissed about it later. Not worth it.
 
Wish Apple would have done the same, this doesn't help my store plan though.

Many walked away with shipping estimates of 7-10 days or worse for the iPhone 6 Plus, but if you ordered through AT&T your shipping times may have just improved.
AT&T sales reps say the company has moved up shipment times on some orders by pulling stock from different regions that would normally be sold in-store.
As a result of the adjustment, some pre-orders are now shipping out in time for arrival on September 19th.
One tipster informed Cult of Mac their iPhone 6 Plus 64 GB “originally showed a ship date from AT&T for 14-21 days. It is now showing arrival on the 19th.” Another Cult of Mac staffer’s shipping estimate dropped 10-15 days, after originally being slated for late-October delivery.
We’ve reached out to AT&T to check if shipping estimates will continue to decrease over the next few days, but in the meantime you can quickly check if your iPhone’s shipping status has changed with this UPS tip.

Same feeling man! Love to have one this Friday but I ordered what i wanted so I'll wait.

Yeah, I'd be the same way if I wasn't flying out of state the Friday after the launch. With MY luck my phone would arrive after I left for the airport.

I just don't think I can take much more iPhone 6 order rage. :D

I feel you man, I'm angry too. My brother got the 9/19 delivery estimate, even though I ordered only 15 minutes after him (somehow he got through, while I was still having problems). I honestly think it was the luck of the draw. Somewhat random. I'm trying not to beat myself up for it haha. There just isn't much we can do besides wait.
 
For those of us that ordered the 6+ and are in this 2nd delivery group instead of launch date: I think we need to remember that the 6+ inventory was low from the start, so I don't think we can compare it to other launches. Website glitch or not, there weren't many people that got launch day 6+ and the website being up wouldn't change much.
