If you cancel your order to get in line

Just remember if you cancel your order to get in line youll need to call AT&T and have them reset your eligibility status. I did that last year and when I went and got one in line it was a big mess because my phone number came up as in eligible...good luck all. I'm in the same boat as everyone else waited three hours and now I'm stuck October 1 to the 6th. First launch ever I miss out on phone on launch day....

Website glitch or not, there weren't many people that got launch day 6+ and the website being up wouldn't change much.

So just got off an online chat with an ATT rep. Yes I know they know nothing. I got my 40 upgrade fee credit and just asked about delivery dates. He said that the word around there was that the earlier october dates were going to start to ship 9/23. Probably a lie but got real giddy!!!

Does this apply to AT&T orders on their website? Or Apple's as well?

Exactly this.. I'm expecting to see either a status change or a card charge by Thursday/Friday (if anything is gonna come next week)
 
I was charged fully for my case a day or two after preorders with a second $0 charge that fell off after a few days. I just looked tonight (it wasn't there at 6pm) and the $0 charge is back. Should I start spazzing out?

FYI, I got up 2:45EST am and tried to order through the VZW (kept getting the ECPD error which several reps assured me that it was the system being overloaded, which turned out to be BS, it was anyone that has a discount through their employer) and Apple, which was down for hours. I know my refresh rate in the 2.5 hours it took me to get my 6+ 128GB Gold FINALLY all the way through checkout was well into the hundreds (multiple devices with multiple tabs open on each).
 
Slightly off-topic, but is AT&T still offering up to $200 for iPhone 4 units that at least still work? Can't find anything on their website that details this... Still wondering if T-Mobile will match that + $50. AT&T's trade-in calculator is showing just $30 for a 16GB iPhone 4, which T-Mobile is expected to value higher... Anyway, last I heard they were still offering $200.
 
I ordered thru Apple but for the first time since, I just logged into AT&T to see my line's eligibility and it gave the full payoff amount - as if I had the 6+.
Did anyone check after ordering? I'm wondering if that's a sign of progress or not. I guess regardless, it does suggest that there was no issue with my previous eligibility.

Last year, my CC changed around launch & I forgot to change the one in AT&T autopay and my account was almost delinquent. That will delay your order! Someone posted something about checking your account which is how I caught it and why I was checking now.

I am hopeful that since ATT is registering the changes, we should get them next week.

It may be a wash, since Apple controls the distribution chain anyway. I have a feeling we will see them ship on the 23rd as has been rumored. Either way, 7-10 business days from the 12th is anywhere between Monday and Thursday. If the orders are indeed expedited anyway, we could see them Friday.
