I too keep checking my order status. Uggg I ordered the 6 plus as soon as I could get through for preorder but it won't get here until the 1-6 AHHHHHHH lol

If i bought it via apple and did the upgrade 2 year contract with a $200 discount can I 'return' the phone and rebuy the same one at cost without the 2 year contract. Was in to much of a hurry. I didn't want buy it out right.

Feel like heading to a line...

iPhone 6 Plus 16GB Space Gray (GSM)

I'd like to know about the 1st group, (those getting delivery tomorrow) how long after getting the ATT notice did their orders start changing to preparing to ship. I'm trying to search, but it's a lot to search through! haha!

Has anyone tried calling Apple to see if the AT&T email/text means that they're getting ready for another shipment?

I just got an email from AT&T about the "changes to my plan". I wonder if that means we're getting ready to be processed. Anyone know?

If someone wants an excuse to call to try for a free case, the AT&T text/email would be something good to call to ask about! ;-)

Speaking as someone who has literally never gotten an iPhone on launch day no matter how early I wake up, we just have to be patient or find different means of getting one. I ordered specifically what I wanted (iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver) and I'm going to wait for it.

We are the second ship group, so we're pretty lucky compared to the people who aren't getting it until the end of November (if their dates stay that way). It's a phone, we're going to be excited about it until it gets here and shortly after, then we will think of it as any other phone we had before.

I get that we're all being a little impatient (god knows I have no patience what so ever!) but we can't do anything about it! Calling Apple and AT&T (or your specific carrier) isn't going to do anything!!! They know just as much as we do (basically nothing).

Now take a deep breath and be happy that we're lucky enough to even have iPhones in the first place :)

I'll never understand why some of you put so much effort to get a crappy case for free.

Bingo. I've waited for a long time for Apple to release a competantly sized iphone. I can wait another week. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with the hell that is standing in line for one tomorrow.

This... I think they have enough legit calls without people calling solely to get a free case. Waiting another week or so is not the end of the world people.

You are right of course. Though, speaking as someone who HAS always gotten it on launch day if I wanted it, I think most of us are annoyed because we did everything right - woke up before launch window, ignored the web browser and went straight to the App store app, even used multiple devices, and we still couldn't even get in because of Apple's F-up, not ours. It may be a mild setback in the grand scheme of things, but its still annoying.

Sometimes part of the fun for people is getting worked up and working the angles to see what you can do to get your phone as soon as possible. What gets annoying is when other people start playing online psychologist and handing out platitudes and cheap advice that no one was asking for.

I think AT&T is sending this email/text to everyone who pre-ordered, I don't think it indicates that we'll be shipping soon.

Oh trust me I'm annoyed too and I spent most of the 12th fuming that I didn't get a launch date delivery (and that I only got 3 hours of sleep!) I even got one reserved for launch date but had a bad feeling about it and reordered (when I checked my reservation that afternoon it was the wrong iphone so I'm glad I reordered). I'm definitely going to try to make the best of my extra week by searching for the best screen protector and learning about ios8!

Well that's a little uncalled for. Get worked up if you want!
