For those in Southern California like me, just found that UPS has 2 scheduled flights from Louisville to Los Angeles and Ontario in the next few hours.

UPS 904 departs at 330am EST and arrives at 435am PST at LAX

UPS 918 departs at 331am EST and arrives at 427am PST at Ontario

Im thinking/hoping this means scans are coming soon.

I have such a deep hatred for UPS now.. Never again. I'll wait in line next year.

I am not a fan of lines.. I may not wait in line next year or whenever i upgrade next but I will sure do things differently than how I did it this time. Thats a for sure... my friend.

It seems to me that the East Coast has an advantage over the west coast people as they will get their iPhones faster or sooner. Can anyone prove or disprove this? Just curious.

Customs for iPhone should be faster since they know that a bunch is coming in... like in the thousands... but the internet still says:

Usually 2 days to a week. Sometimes as quickly as 5 minutes.

again these are "world ease" ... all the customs documents were prepared and pre-approved in advance by ups as part of a logistics perk... it literally takes the guy to go "hmm.. looks like the right sized box... good to go" .. with the maybe 1 in 1000 "okay lets make sure this is really what you said it is"... no.. either ups decided to hold them back.. or UPS failed to get the documents in their hands... (one shipment in this thread couldnt leave china because apple failed to get the documents in UPS's hands that it needs to get the package into the US).

Lets hope it goes smooth as you say;)

You would think that, but apparently there was an HM10 (hazmat spill and cleanup afterwards) in one of the wings of the Louisville hub early this morning and it delayed some stuff. Not really the update I wanted to hear when I asked a clerk at work why my package might be delayed so long in Louisville.

Just hoping my phone isn't bathing in toxic acid right now. Having to wait for ANOTHER phone would definitely be insult to injury. Maybe a few phones will go out in the wee hours overnight at least, but it sounds like they're really gummed up there now. Would explain why people coming in after us are leaving before us, and the total lack of any activity. Just gonna go to bed and hope there's some good news tomorrow.

Wow... You have got to be kidding me... This just keeps getting better and better...

In all seriousness, I hope no one was hurt.

Your phone is in NJ. The import scan just populated in the system. It was just a delayed scan.

Hopefully my dumb phone is on this flight since it's passed Import Scan or what ever.

Sigh

I woke up this morning to find my iPhone was in Louisville waiting for an import scan.

I'm going to sleep tonight with my iPhone still in Louisville waiting for an import scan.

23 hours since it arrived at Louisville and no movement.

And to think...it took less time for our phones to fly all the way from China to America

To find your city, here is the link of upcoming scheduled UPS flights leaving Louisville:

http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KSDF/scheduled?;offset=0;order=filed_departuretime;sort=ASC

It shows the first 20 so click on tiny "Next 20" link on bottom to see more upcoming flights.

hmmm I don't see any direct flights from louisville to Las Vegas. Last night they had one but tonight I do not see any. If it goes to Ontario then it may not make the same day shipment. :(

its doubtful that it went back to Louisville... there are a couple of examples of this in the thread....
