Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

Mine's out for delivery! Now I just have to hope they will leave it at the door according to my pre-sign sheet. I would have held it for will call but my stupid local hub is only open from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM :/

I'm not as worked up as a lot of the people on this thread, but I'm just genuinely curious about how the first one sits there for 2 days and does nothing, but the second one zips right through when they're going to the same address.

Likewise! You have ups choice account? What does you approximate deliver time say # mine says between 1:30-5:30pm ##hope that's true

I don't think so. It gets imported by customs. If you think gov't workers are in a rush to get your phones imported you're wrong. I'm sure UPS has no control over that and in no way can make them go faster. They're also importing tons of other things from other places & companies as well & will probably take their sweet time unfortunately. Frustrating - yes but I don't really think UPS can do anything about that. I don't think they're out to slow packages down.

This is incorrect. UPS has set the 9/25 delivery date shipments aside to allow for the 9/23 and 9/24 shipments to make it on time. This has nothing to do with customs and everything to do with UPS moving shipments on their own time schedule. UPS absolutely could have moved this faster, but why would they waste resources and money to get these to us faster than promised.

I for one am perfectly okay with what they did, you will find a plethora of others who are not.

Hold your breath for a few more minutes. UPS99 leaves in about 10 minutes so we won't see a scan if any until then if you're lucky enough to make it there.

#Team520 could make thursday delivery if we left on UPS99 because it's plenty of time, but judging by how stuff has gone these past few days THEYRE probably going to hold us back so we deliver on our 9/26 date. Whatever UPS just get me my iPhone. Pleas and thanks.
 
Welp. My phone visited about 9 cities in 6 days and had one hell of a journey. It finally made its way to my hometown and out for delivery today. I'll be waiting (not so) patiently for the next few hours. I'll check back with you guys tonight :)

Mine is between 12:30 and 4:30, but I'm hoping it will come while I am on one of my breaks from classes and I will just drive to and from campus today:rolleyes: Knowing my luck it will probably show up while i'm gone and they won't leave it at the door :(

I'm definitely not going to be delivered tomorrow. My date was pushed back to Friday.
 
So what's The lasted. My delivery is for tomorrow yet I am still in KY and have been for 2 days now.

I'm in no way an expert in this but if your EOD isn't originally 9/25 you might be SOL. I'm still waiting on a import scan as well though. I'm hoping it shows up sometime today which I think it will

These are "world ease" products... its already been pre-cleared... it literally takes seconds to verify pre-clear status... as can be seen by everyone who came in lastnight and made the planes back out...

If it were really stuck in customs you'd get something like:
06/07/2010 11:36 A.M. THIS SHIPMENT IS WAREHOUSED UNTIL IT IS RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY


This hold is purely so UPS can have a 6th class of shipping. Unless someone can provide the full flight manifests and show that EVERY plane that left from KY has been full (no way that is true), will i accept they really dont have capacity. Hell even if they had tossed it on a trailer truck, it would be here now.

Normally on launch days my iPhone's have shown up really early, like around 10am. Isn't it typical for Next Day / 2nd Day Air deliveries to be dropped off first?
