Oct. 1 to 6 2014 Delivery Date Orders (Update) Delivered earlier!

If the phones were in the States already at a processing center, and if they had received a big shipment and were going to be able to fill more pre-orders...it would be possible, but I find this scenario to be unlikely.

It's more likely that Foxconn got another big batch off the assembly line and they are being processed for shipping to individuals right now and by tomorrow we'll have tracking numbers.

I would say the best possible scenario for us would be Saturday/Monday. Saturday is a hail mary long shot, IMO.

Yeah, I agree with you. I see a VERY small chance of tomorrow. We'd have tracking numbers by now. (Or at least be able to see the shipments using Reference numbers.)

I'm guessing Wednesday delivery, but I'd be super happy if I was wrong and Monday was the golden day of blessing and joy.

In the past I have always got a pending charge on my CC the day it ships out, so I am betting they will be shipped from either China or Louisville (if lucky) today or tomorrow.

I don't know about Apple specifically, but when I've purchased stuff that had to be shipped from other companies (Google Play Store, for instance), I've been charged when the label for my package is printed but that's no guarantee that it'll actually ship that day. You're right, though; Louisville if lucky.

Not sure it will happen that soon. But it should be next week now for sure. In 3 business days …. well maybe the soonest if shipped later today could arrive to our houses by Tuesday at the earliest but more likely Wed or Thurs and for sure by latest by Friday next week.

I recall reading news that around 50,000 iPhones were flew to the us by CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINE on Starting on Monday. So I doubt except the launch day shipment, our UPS track may begin within the U.S.

From my past experience. Apple don't hold 'preparing' for too long (again, except launch day cargo for some reasons) so we may be looking at next week, Wednesday or so






Anyway, I'm gonna wait in line tonight.

Why can't you wait in line if your item is preparing for shipment? Who cares? Just go wait in line then buy the phone outright.

I'm thinking the same thing. They must know people would line up just in case and then start to cancel their online orders. I been thinking about it myself.

They just screwed everyone with an 7-10 day online order now. If i can get it early next week then i'll be happy but if its in Oct then I would of really considered camping out tonite.

Went ahead and canceled my order last night before I got charged. Again, I'm first in line at my nearest Apple Store and I was too impatient to wait it out. Now tomorrow morning can't come soon enough.
I had a IP6+ 64gb Space but I think I want a Silver one now.
Anyways, good luck to everyone else on receiving them early.

What are you going to do if you don't get a iPhone at the store, meaning they run out of stock faster than you think? What will you do?

If can't, you never worry when u have a brand new iPhone during the first week right? I can sell it or even return to the store. No big deal

Unlikely, since it's launch and supplies are very tight. I bet these phones haven't even cooled off from being in factory workers's hands when they're packed and loaded for shipment, it's that tight.

I agree, If there even made yet lol. I think they did this so we don't line up tonite and then cancel orders in the morning when the chaos begins.

My 128gb 6 plus for AT&T that had an original ship date of Oct1-6 just changed to preparing for shipment!

The Ship date hasn't actually changed yet, but I should be getting it soon, correct?

If you stay at Processing phase then you can still line up tonite and cancel your order tomorrow morning or when you find out they have your phone available.

The point is you will most possibly know your updated delivery time AFTER tomorrow morning. Then if it's october, you r already too late to line up.

I read some on other threads that it was days for some people before it actually shipped and they were getting frustrated. Everyone is acting like it will ship later today, For me I see that as unlikely, maybe saturday or sunday at earliest shipped statuses will come Monday perhaps at latest but if anyone knows about the 1st wave how long it took to go to shipped status… Please Enlighten US….

Mine is also in Preparing to Ship with the delivery date still stating Oct 1 - 6.

My two cents: For almost all iPhone launches I have always preordered through apple.com (when available) this is no different.

Now this could be different since I am not slated for release date delivery but usually in my experience when it moves to "Preparing for Shipping" it stays there for up to two days. Usually within 24 hours you can go to UPS or FedEx and track by Reference number (your phone number associated with the order, State and zip code) and it will show if the phone has dispatched and from where along with estimated delivery date.

I'd say in this situation if the phones come out of China they need to stop over in Alaska to pass through Customs first, if all goes well we might start seeing our phones as early as Wednesday of next week and Friday at latest.

If the phones are already in the States I would guess we would see our phones by Tuesday - Thursday of next week.

A bunch of people went to preparing to ship last saturday, most haven't been updated to shipped yet. So for some it was 5-6 days, I am guessing 3-5 days until shipping for us, but who knows.
