Why don't you just get on the phone with Apple instead of making comments? And look, I'm not trying to get anybody exited. I haven't done anything since I've ordered this thing, that's me. I have to have the first Phone/iPad/macbook every year. Why? Who knows, I wish I didn't care. . .

Tomorrow is very likely. I've seen shipments direct from China to US in a day.
Got an email from Apple that my debit card didn't work for some unknown reason this morning. Called my bank and everything. 
I changed my payment info to a different one. Waiting for it to confirm. So scared that I'll be delayed because of this. Praying the different card will work.
Update: 2nd card isn't working. I'm freaking out.
Update: Called Apple, customer service was able to authorize the payment and fix the problem. Not sure why it wouldn't authorize for me and only for the sales rep. Had nothing to do with my bank, as my bank had no clue why the payment wouldn't go through. My shipping date stayed the same as well. So relieved. <3

I just got off the phone with them as well - very short wait time by the way, spoke to a cool rep named Ashley. Asked why my order still showed "Processing," will this be updated today. My card has been charged. She looked at the order and stated "Don't worry, you'll have the phone TOMORROW - we have a warehouse in Pennsylvania not far from your location."
"Huh??" I then stated, "That's a shock, I am in the Oct 1-6 arrival time frame, these are not being shipped from China?" She then stated "that is a possibility, but many after the first initial shipment are coming from US warehouses"
So basically, I'm just confused at this point. I just need to chill out and just wait. Won't do the wait in line thing tomorrow, I would have to go dig out some laters of hoodies, maybe a heavy jacket..even gloves . 40-45º overnight into tomorrow morning. Its been freakishly chilly already for the past few weeks, but this will be the 1st REAL chilly night! Body is not used to this nonsense.
Oh and I just sneak in there - "So deflating, I had the phone for a 9/19 arrival in my cart, the app crashed" - which is true. She "was sorry to hear that.." and offers for a leather case, apple TV, headphones, etc were not offered. I felt too much of a fool to ask anyway.

Called and Ordered through att premier business on day 1. I was told delivery was November 7 to the 27! But today I received a fed ex email saying delivery is tomorrow. Whoa baby!
Why would I waste my time getting on the phone with Apple in order to confirm something I think is bogus. The onus is on you to provide the evidence to support your claim, not on me to. In any case Apple will be contacting me once the phone has shipped, as they have done ever since they enabled online ordering.
If you have any proof to support what you're saying then please provide it instead of making unfounded comments.

CSR knows about the "Top Secret Cherry Surprise".....Probably Not...I will say this...If this was indeed happening you can bet your ass you would at least be able to track by reference by now....There's no way it would be expected to be on your doorstep tomorrow and it not be in the UPS/FEDEX system as of 3:15 Eastern Time....It just doesn't work like that...
So I guess, long story short, you are full of caca my friend...
But shipments don't go from China directly to your house. They go from Shenzen to Shanghai, to Anchorage, wait a few hours to clear customs, then to the distro point in Louisville. Then possibly to another distro point depending on where you live (e.g., Northeast is Harrisburg). That all takes more than one day.
You must have read the same article that I did - the one which said that Apple paid to have the entire fleet of Concordes pulled out of museums, etc. and put back into service for delivery of iPhones.

They have a number of "free" cases to give to very inpatient people. I don't care about the case. I care about spending $1,000 on a phone and not having it ASAP. And they are coming from the US. Not China. All "preparing for shipment" status orders are coming from US. The guy knows better than us, right?
And no free leather case from Apple thrown in for calling them.

I concur. The csr i spoke to did say phones are shipped from the US.
Anyhow, im still stoked about the $100 off discount he gave me.
Is this some kind of hidden pro tip? The larger the font the more believable your story may be?
I've had stuff not show up with a tracking number before. Also, I recall how Apple and Fedex/UPS handle things, the tracking records aren't accurate anyway.
I remember on a few iPhone/iPad launches I never got an "out for delivery"

I and this problem... As well last week.w hat I did to fix this was I called my bank and ask the. For a approval code to give the apple rep... It should be solve after that.
This is the key.
IF there was a chance for 9/19 delivery we'd most likely have tracking numbers (or at least be able to track by Reference numbers) today.
I don't necessarily think he's lying to us, however. The Apple rep very well could have said that. I'm sure customer reps get some laughs out of things like this.
