Relax guys. October 4-10 is only a few weeks away, - max 3. Feel better? Nope. Me neither. :D

just keep an eye on istocknow.com. probably the best method.

Not really. You can't make reservations 99.9% of the time. Try it.

128GB ATT matte black from Apple Store app, 9/9 at 3:47 EDT (I assume those saying EST mean EDT).

For me 128GB Matte Black 7 Plus ATT AT 3:50am EASTERN TIME. FROM NYC.
STILL IN PROCESSING.

Don't you have to reserve right when Apple updates their stock since others are looking to do the same?

It seems like in the "Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th" thread shipping is getting delayed. Probably means ours will be delayed too since we're stuck in processing hell. It sounds like UPS had a major mess up with the shipping logistics, at least that's what it sounds like after reading through that thread.

Matte Black 128gb AT&T via Apple.com (2:20 am EST) - Still processing - Paid for using IUP. 10/4 - 10/10, I would like the phone before 10/5 since ill be traveling that day.

I've been monitoring istock.com website all morning and a Matte Black 128gb Verizon model is available at my local store. I reserved it and will hopefully be picking up the phone today and canceling my pre-order. I'm just going to buy the phone outright since I cant use the IUP on a Verizon phone since I'm an AT&T customer.

Just left the apple store with my phone. I'll be canceling my pre-order!

This is infuriating.

The model I want is available at a nearby Apple Store, yet I can't reserve it via AT&T Next because presumably my other order already registered with AT&T so I cannot choose that method for upgrade.
[doublepost=1474476614][/doublepost]welp, nevermind, sold out in front of my face. just my luck.

This happened to me as well. What I ended up doing was canceling my original order, waiting a bit (maybe 10–15 minutes) and then placing a reservation for the new one. Not sure there's another way, and of course was taking a risk during that 10–15 minute window. Worked out for me though.

Last year I had ordered a phone and then decided to get a smaller storage version that popped up at a local Apple Store. I just reserved it as if I was going to pay full price and then waited until I was in line at the Apple Store to cancel. Cancelling the order freed up the upgrade for me immediately (I'm with AT&T).

It DOESN'T work. It's just a giant joke. Try and make a reservation for a phone anywhere in the country - when you do it will just give you an error.

The reservations work fine for me. I've already flipped some matte blacks while waiting for my JB pre-order. It looks like are allowing one reservation per iTunes account now though. It's for the upgrade program, but you can just tell them in store that you want to pay full price. There's never an objection.

Wondering can i just pick up an ATT model even though im on T-mo? Apple seems to ask for account number and such which i obliviously don't have.

Is there a reason they do this? If I'm buying the phone outright.

I've been wondering this as well. One article said a Verizon version is better as it works with all carriers. Interested in what others have to say on this.

Sucks because i could pick up the device i want but for any other provider but mine. I'm buying the phone unlocked but can't seem to do so because of the verification thing they have before ordering.

Yet if you select T-mobile, there's no checking, you just buy the phone no account needed. I think that's why they're exhausted.

I was debating doing this too, but I was hesitant because I didn't want to get screwed over again, since we're all so used to that by now.

I posted this in the other 10/4-10/10 thread but nobody read it it appears:

I realize these aren't the exact same scenarios, but I'll share anyway....I ordered the iPhone 6 Plus space grey on 10/1/14, 3-4 week ship date, delivers Oct 30 - Nov 6. I didn't get any action until 10/24/14 when I got the shipping email. I received the phone on October 30, 2014, which was the soonest date they said I would get it when I first ordered. Suffice to say, I'm not expecting my 7+ 128gb matte black until October. And yes, I realize the above order wasn't a preorder like we have all have done here with the 7.

(Of course I still go through my routine of checking UPS FEDEX CC Apple app etc every 1/2 hour cuz I'm a stinky loser)

Processing hell.

Can't even stand the other threads seeing ATT members have so much movement.
Ditto

7+ 128gb black absolutely no movement. Processing since 9/9

I'm so sick of hearing the amateur air traffic controllers talking about flight xx and how their phones are getting into Alaska and on and on.....I just want SOME movement. Geez.

This is going to upset a lot of people. Being charged AT&T monthly payment and not having the phone!
