And I just bought Cloud Play last week in the App Store...

I just bought it yesterday!

I like this service more than Spotify, iTunes Match, Rdio, etc. Why? Because firstly, it acts like a combination of Spotify & iTunes Match in that I can upload my entire library to the Cloud and stream to my device (free of charge) and I can also stream on-demand anything in the Play Store. Also I can do these things all in the browser on any computer. Also, I much prefer the UI of this service over Spotify, Rdio, etc. I when I subscribed to Spotify, I found the UI to be awful. Especially on the desktop application. I am quite happy about this news.

If I don't pay the $9.99/month, can I still access all of my music on my Google Music?

Yes you can. You can upload your entire music catalog to google music serviers and stream or download to your local device. Its awsome!.

To clear up

Just to clear up some of the questions that are popping up:

Google Play Music All Access (long name yes I know) is like Spotify and Pandora. You can listen to any song you want willy nilly or launch a radio station based on genre or song/artist. The bonus is that you can upload your own songs as well. There's also an in-browser player so you literally can listen to your tunes in high quality anywhere.

I've been waiting for this app, for a long time.

The paid version most certainly will, just like Spotify. Thats why I love spotify, I can make playlist that download only over wifi and then take the music to wherever I go. Although if Google's price is the same I see no reason to consider switching.

And that's why I use Rdio. Having to make a playlist just to be able to download songs to your device is crazy. Hopefully Google's will work like Rdio, you find an album, you hit download. That's it.

This is my streaming radio service of choice. I buy from iTunes/Google/Amazon depending on the price or who has the most songs on the album.

Says the guy who saw the article, clicked the link, probably read the article, and then commented.

So I'm right, this is not something that can be touted as a bonus over Spotify, as you could have that and Spotify at the same time.

Sure it is - because it's all in one place.

Google you are late with this app, it should have come out when Google music was launched last year or the year before (I forgot when). I already get iTunes Match which all my songs are in the cloud and iTunes Radio with no ads so yeah Google is late to the game with iOS devices.

I usually keep up with the latest tech, but for music I honestly still use iTunes. I might use Pandora/iTunes radio but I never got into spotify, and I probably won't get into this.

Having my personal collection of 15K songs wherever I go for free and now w/ a proper iOS app, google play is the best thing for streaming personal music.

I get no ads using google play to stream my collection for free. ;)

For those who say that Google Music is like Spotify, that was true - especially at launch. Any song (99% of the time) on demand, with the ability to download to your device for playback when an Internet signal is not present. Also, the ability to 'explore' genre specific uploaded playlists in addition to 'radio' stations that were built off of a particular artist or track. But now, Google has added the ability to be more like Pandora and Slacker, so that pre-existing radio stations by genre are able to be tuned into. All while being able to flag songs for your own custom playlists.

I've used iTunes, Spotify, Slacker and Pandora. Only one I haven't used is Rdio - and I can tell you that Google Music, while still only being 4 months old, combines the best of all. And that's not even including the ability to upload your OWN tracks from your desktop/laptop to be stored in the cloud. All while being seamless. Well worth the money - especially since I got in on the $7.99/month deal :)

Wow! Are you done being a troll? Google fan boys seriously are trippin they need some ****ing help.

If you are unhappy the comments people make here than why the **** are you here? This site is called MacRumors not GoogleRumors.

I'm not trying to troll but at least give it a free try and then let us know. Thank you

I have used Google Music I even uploaded all my songs on it I like it but hated that I could never was able to use on my iOS device. The only way I could access Google Music on my iOS device was through Safari browser but it would always crash, so yeah I gave up on it.

I know you can stream tracks like Spotify on Google Music but iTunes Match is still cheaper, $9.99 for 12 months is more than iTunes Match.

On Andriod, it works like Rdio.

don't need to since almost everything is in spotify

The reply you were looking for was 'No it does not'.

As a spotify user I'll certainly look at switching if it lets me upload my own files. There's still a lot of stuff missing from Spotify (although its way better than it was about a year ago) so this will be a welcomed feature for many.

The only thing that does piss me off:

US: $9.99
UK: £9.99

Screw logic, just change the symbol.

Or for $120 a year you could have all songs, or only just 100 songs in iTunes.
You can listen to 'all songs' as long as you pay for the service. The songs you buy from iTunes remain yours forever.

It's a matter of lifestyle. Let's assume the average album contains 10 songs and each band releases 1 new album each year. Then, if I have 10 favourite bands and I want to be able to listen to all their new and old material at any time, a subscription service is more suitable.

However, I listen mostly to classical music, and my music library does not expand as fast. Therefore, iTunes is my choice.

I love Apple logic - if it costs more and it's Apple, it's 'you know, to get a quality product, I don't mind spending the money'. If it costs more and it's not Apple, it's 'i'm not spending money on this!'
