jailbreakme.com works (for now). You'll see a "downloading" window pop up immediately after sliding. If you just have a purple wallpaper, it's not working.

My iP4 on 4.0.1 is stuck on the apple logo.

I could not get the jailbreak to work. It wouldnt even download. So then I reset my cookies/history/cache and tried again. This time it downloaded, then it said "sit tight" for like half a second then went to the home screen. I tried this several times (reseting and jailbreaking) only to get the same result.


I then restarted my phone, and it is stuck on the apple logo. I did a hard reset and its still the same situation.

i think you bricked your phone. you are gonna have to restore! 🙁

Yes it was. Now for the first stupid question. I held off updating to 4.0.1. If I decided to update for kicks & giggles, would I have to rejailbreak? Anyone? The update from 4.0 probably isn't worth it, but it's good to have this information.
