Is it not already painfully clear that this is a scam? If you really need an unlocked iPhone for less then they cost bought legitimately, i will fill your orders if you PM me your CC details.
I spoke to Phil today and he basically reiterated what he told MSX98 yesterday, he said that he will get some by the end of the week, and i would receive mine either Friday or early next week. I also mentioned his company being banded around on "forums" and he stated that 95% of the stuff being talked about was rubbish.I also asked him why he doesn't just respond to the criticism, his reply was that he doesn't have to justify himself to people that don't know what they're talking about. He also stated that he has already fulfilled some orders and that the phones he is getting will be locked. Again he seemed open and as honest as you would expect him to be. I asked him an exact date he would be getting stock ,but he wouldn't, he also offered me a refund if i didn't want to wait.
He also intimated that the delays have come from his supplier, which was out of his hands.
I have to say that he is still answering calls, has not left the country, and seems honest, either that or I'm a really bad judge of character.
i dont have the order date as i am out in france. confirmation emails and details went to jason so you will have to get it from him. sorry guys. ohmac isn't a scam.

i ordered my iphone on the 18th June
and still had no iphone!!
i ordered an 8gb but no luck yet, i know a few 16gbs have been handed out but they guy at ohmac recons it will be this week.
but there is no way to unlock the iphone 3g yet... accordin to google
anyway...

Thats ok... hes always offering refunds! so no need to worry... ohmac is not a scam.... and people on here that keep saying its a scam need to open their eyes!! there is a genuine post code and vat number on their website.. hes worked through paypal... which means if he is fake then we can all claim back from paypal!

nice one billy some sense being talked now and a shame for the guy who paid in july. let's face it he wouldnt say you'll have to wait and offer a refund now would he if he wanted our money. let's hope for some news today.
I'm waiting for them to deliver, I'm hoping they do, as they'll get a lot of buisness from me, anyways.
Hey guys was on the last thread. Ordered 16gb on the 18th of june. I spoke to him monday, he said this week or next week! It's fustrating i know. Anyone else got a positive update on stock?
Thats pretty much what a friend of mine was also told when he called yesterday.
At least they are being consistant if nothing else!
just got off the phone with phil who says he has some but won't be sending mine because i paid in july. i argued with him that i sent an original payment in june which had to be reufnded for address issues. i am very annoyed because now i have to keep this stupif F**********ing phone for another three weeks which will end up being 3 month. gonna look on ebay now and see what prices they're going for.

I placed my order at ohmac in the 2nd half of June (something around the 23th, I think), but before I did i called them up. Phil told me it would take at least 2-3 weeks , most likely longer. So, i am not worried at all, and if he starts to send out some that is even better.

By saying that, you just gave people reason to believe that in fact you are from ohmac 'ltd'

Dont take it personally, it's just the influx of newbies with their firsts posts claiming to receiving or getting dispatch info is so high and from previous members has lead me to become quite not the gullable type.
Fair enough. However i am not claiming to have gotten a dispatch info or something like that. I am still waiting like the rest of you. Anyway, i checked my paypal account again. I ordered the 8GB 3G on June 23th. Again, Phil told me that it could be longer than the estimated 2-3 weeks after release till i get my phone.
just to make the point I may be a newbie here but not a newbie to macs or iphones and same as dundee am a genuine person and awaiting my order. I took the sensible step of paying by credit card so wont lose any money even if it turns out to be a scam which after this length of time I doubt it is. Ohmac seem to keep in contact when asked questions unlike other fly by night iphone scam artists, they have stopped taking orders (now why would you do that if all you are trying to do is get as much money as possible to run off with?). I agree that ohmac probably underestimated the restrictions that apple placed on the 3g re contracts etc and overestimated the popularity of their offer! I think if they had put it £100 more then I probably still would have bought it as I am emigrating to NZ and I didn't want to extend my O2 contract as the cost of buying out the contract would be more then the price of buying the 3G so made good sense to me! Me I'm gonna keep an eye on these threads and on ohmac and will wait and see and give them a chance. I am sure that as ohmac get phones in they will trickle them out to those who have ordered, hopefully I'm near the front of the queue and will receive mine soon!
