Is this only being offered for those with 15GB? I'm on the 10GB plan; is this new plan available? I guess I need to call.

I guess. Seems like it's usually the same big cell phone companies in all of the western European countries, though. Just seems weird to me that if you have a Vodaphone account in Italy, it wouldn't "just work" (without limitations) when you're using a Vodaphone network in Belgium, etc.

Yeah, that one is a total BS! UE is working on a law to eliminate roaming in Europe altogether thought. There are no boarders anymore, so there's no reason to charge for roaming. But you know, takes time. Also, I just checked and the max gb you can get is around 7-10gb per month. And that's 75 euros/month. So there IS a downside in our system. At least if you decide to pay you can have a a lot more :)

No, you just need to read.

The answer is no. You need to upgrade and pay more to go from 10GB to 15GB. Then, they will give you 30GB for the price you pay for 15GB.

Those with the cheap plan need to spend a little more to get something. No free lunch this time.

The new plan starts tomorrow. I'm going to check my account online tomorrow, try to change the plan, and see what it says.

I use the $30 prepaid T-Mobile plan with my unlocked 5S and I get unlimited text and unlimited data with a 5GB LTE cap then it throttles. The only downside is I only have 100 minutes a month but I don't talk on the phone that much and I can also use FaceTime audio or the free vonage app to call people and not use minutes.

I'm not sure there are even pre-paid plans where you can get 7.5GB/unlimited talk/unlimited text for $72.50/month?

https://www.cricketwireless.com/cell-phone-plans

$55/mo for 10GB of data + unlimited talk (no taxes or fees)
$27/mo for $650 phone over 24 months

VS

$72.50/mo for 7.5GB of data + unlimited talk/text
$5+/mo in taxes and fees
$10/mo for $200 phone upgrade + $40 upgrade fee over 24 months

I'm on the 1 gig plan with ATT and have been going over... :( Any better options than the 2 gig plan?

If we want the lower monthly, can we just pay the ETFs now? That saving amounts to quite a bit more than the ETF over the 24 months
What plan are you on? AT&T used to let people switch from other plans over to these Share Plans without charging any EFTs.

i have the 20gb mobile shared plan. Do I just call in and ask, or am I automatically going to be switched. Obviously I want more data. Do I really have to contact them for this?

I think this is worth the bump for me, I'll take the $30 hit to go from 10GB to 30GB a month.

Good deal compare to what I have now. I am currently in the 20GB plan for a family of 4 and we rarely get close to it. So that means I can go down to the "15GB" price tomorrow but I'll get 30GB. Saves me about $15 more per month.

What sucks is that the price per line went up. My family is thinking of getting iPhone 6 Plus when their contract expires next month (we aren't sure if we should use Next upgrade or not).

So hard to calculate right now if its better to stay with AT&T or go to T-Mobile for family of 5 lines. I bought the 6+ unlocked from Apple site for T-Mobile because we are thinking of switching to T-Mobile next month. I haven't activated my iPhone yet on my AT&T (Not sure if I can) while I wait for my contract to ends in Oct. then switch to T-Mobile and finally use my iPhone 6+. This is giving me a headache ugh.

You can switch the plan whenever you want. It doesn't affect the contract. Now what you pay on the msvp would be determined by when you signed your two-year contract.

Right, my lines are still under contract. What I want to know is if I can just pay all my ETFs now to save the $75/month for the 3 lines. The savings add up to more than the ETFs

I recently upped my 6GB mobile share plan which I paid like $125/month to 10GB a few weeks ago on the Next plan which was $10 cheaper at $115. I was preparing for my new iPhone 6 purchase. I have only had it for like 3 weeks and I am already about to hit 7GB used while before I only averaged like 5GB used. But the reason for this is traveling so I have been using my iPhone to watch NFL Sunday Ticket. Now with hockey season about to start I am thinking upping to the 15GB/30GB plan which will more than cover my data uses to listen and stream games.

I do have the extra $47 for the iPhone 6 on the Next 12 plan, but I plan to pay it off early.

I'm about to switch and finally give up my day one unlimited but what kinda hacks me off about this plan is you get 30gb of data to share, but we are going to charge you 15$ per month smartphone access.

WTF. How the hell would I use 30gb of data a month without a smartphone. What a crock of ****.

It's just the line fee for phone charge to join in to the plan. It's the same price as a basic phone joining in the same plan.
