Unfortunately, Amazon can't determine what happened to the shipment, and they had to reissue the order, so I'm back to the 3 to 6 weeks wait. Is your's what you hoped it would be? :)
Oh, wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully they'll turn it quicker than that now that the coupon sales have stopped.

I'm even more impressed than I expected to be. :) The SSD and performance make this a dramatically better machine than the quirky first-generation 13" MacBook Pro I had and sold a couple of years ago -- that machine sent me running screaming back to a Windows only notebook. This new MBA, on the other hand, is a solid performer.

Sweet! :)

Congrats! Was the USPS estimated arrival date accurate? Mine is in the city but likely won't be delivered til Monday.

Thanks! It actually showed up a day earlier than the delivery estimate. Typing on my new air as we speak. Maybe you'll get yours earlier too. Good luck!

btw, this is my first Mac and its been great so far (all few hours I've had it, haha). Can't wait to really get to know this thing.

Just got it! It came early too! Ordered 8/24, 13/128, Samsung SSD, haven't checked display yet but I'm happy regardless.

Awesome, enjoy it!!

I'm not even checking my hard drive or screen...don't really care, I'm just gonna calibrate the screen and use it:cool:

Yeah, I didn't like the LG panel until I adjusted it a little bit, then I realized that they probably just made the default settings for one panel and it needed to be calibrated differently for the LG. Looks really nice now.

My wife has the Samsung display and I have the LG. I can't tell the difference at all! Both are calibrated and I prefer the LG as the color tones appear to be a bit cooler. Everyone will have their own opinion, but I'm satisfied with my LG display.

Just to update on my 13" air that showed my telephone support had expired (obviously an error): On the date I received it (not ordered date), 8/29, Apple made the effective date. Also, from my received date, my AppleCare runs a year. If some of you have odd dates, especially those waiting a long time, you may want to call Apple and get the dates effective to your received date.

Woohoo! Just bought another 2011 11" MBA from Amazon today and convinced the CSR to apply the 20% off, he had to be creative though. Took me 3 different CSRs to do it.

Now how did you manage that? I'm in the market for a second MBP 13"...

I'm pretty sure the finance offers only apply to amazon store cards.

Look a little closer the OP was asking just that ;)

You had to use the Amazon Store card, not the Amazon Visa. Apples and oranges. The Amazon Store card is run by GE Money Bank. Amazon Visa is Chase.

finally

I just received mine. Samsung SSD & Display.
Probably would have flipped if i got something else in the "lottery"

You might try calling up Amazon to see if they would transfer your purchase to a new Amazon Store Card account for the deferred interest deal. It's a long shot, but it doesn't hurt to try. Otherwise, your best bet is to pay it off now rather than hand over your entire discount to Chase in the form of interest.

Here is the current offer for the Amazon Store Card
