Do you have any idea what are those green marks in the middle on black panel.

Centrally located.
Looks like some image processing issue.

I find it on other photos with low lightning

It is lens flare / ghosting.
Please check the previous posts 439,445,455,472,476,488 ToddH has a nice post about this issue.
Thank you.

Quite annoying at its on pretty every photo taken in darker rooms with lightning on.

I though initially that I should exchange my phone.

see how bad my camera is
hope some one can explain for me what is this since no apple store around me here in my country

I'm experiencing a weird issue. Try taking a picture in an ok lit room. Then crank up the exposure to max and take a picture. The picture will look really strange, yellow and broken contrast. In the viewfinder before taking the picture it looks fine and also the Live Photo part. But the still is messed up. I've filed a bug report to apple about it

It's like smart HDR is overworking the picture

Here... I just took this photo showing the ghosting/flare. A bright pinpoint light. The inverted ghost image is clearly visible to the right. Then I removed it with my retouch app in just seconds!

Please do not use your phone while driving. It is unsafe to do under any circumstances even worse when driving in bad weather. Your other photos are very good.

This is one of the best rainbow photos I’ve seen taken on any smartphone. It certainly demonstrates how far they have come.

Appreciate it :).

Did a nature photo walk the other day and had some good fun with nature related pictures. Despite the ever present clouds and fog (Did someone move me to Seattle?), I figured it would be a good test of the phones abilities.

Before going too into the new camera (and Pixel 2 comparison), I thought it would be worth sharing a shot from my recently reclaimed iPhone 6. This became my Mom's phone when the 6S came out, and she had been using it until I replaced it with an iPhone 7. While the new cameras on phones are truly great, iPhone cameras have really been quite good for a long time now.

Moving things a bit more modern, Below are test shots between the Pixel 2 and iPhone Xs Max.

Overall I am happy with the Xs Max as a camera, and find it tends to offer more keepers in general than the Pixel 2, especially when Zoom becomes needed. That said, the Pixel 2 was far more reliable at taking great pictures than Any iPhone I have had before it. While the Xs Max has more keepers in my testing (focus and speed to take a shot), the Pixel has far better exposure control in low light. Sometimes the Xs Max brings up shadows WAY too much, which makes the photos feel overly post processed.

The 7 would focus hunt too much, the 6 would do that + have motion blur due to the lack of OIS and possibly weaker sensor.

I honestly feel the competition from the Pixel 2 pushed Apple really hard to put out a much better camera system.

Loving the pics! The pixel 2 pics are good but very minuscule.

I think you should take it to the apple store or contact apple in some other way and get that checked out. Not normal.
