He could do anything to it, BB will need to be added to the dispute and he needs to add the receipt and so forth, anything can happen and i don't think Paypal allows modification to any item without proper autorization
I agree I feel like the person is just trying to get some money off the phone and keep the phone and get a more of a discount meanwhile the phone might have not even been fixed or touched by BB

He still hasn't provided any video or photo, or proof of service from BB. I would've considered giving him some money back just to not have to deal with this BS. But not anymore since he voided the warranty. I'll be livid if PayPal sides with him.

The guy never responded further and left me my 1st negative review for Swappa and ebay combined, since the year 2000. Unreal, I slept on it and decided I'd work with him to try and resolve. Then he trashes me, so wrote him a very long nice love letter back. No PayPal dispute yet...

He was definitely trying to keep the phone and get it further discounted, I'm convinced this was a whole made up story and his purpose. First of all this phone couldn't lag if you wanted to unless you loaded some apps or used the backup that caused it.

Scumbag move if that's what he was after. He has my email and address from the BB receipt so that is why I would've just worked with him to make him go away.

I know, there's no way a brand new phone just lags. Especially this one.

Swappa staff took my side and hid his review for now, they told him he was in the wrong and I have no obligation to refund. Glad it is all in writing. If he wants to file a PayPal dispute hopefully he'll lose.

Thanks for the suggestions!

This guy would really have some big ones if he goes through PayPal for a refund, you showed no proof of anything and now you want to cry when you don't get a discount. People like this ruin the places like Swappa which has so many good sellers and buyers but then you get stupidity like this.

I agree. It can make honest sellers like Harthhag shy away from doing it again. Lot of times these scammers go for people with low sales on Swappa or ebay because they figure they can get away with more shenanigans.

Harthhag just take this as a learning experience and set up standards for yourself. There are going to be a percentage of people trying to take advantage but the higher percentage is just normal people wanting a good deal.

Don't let this experience sour you from doing it again because then it makes marketplaces like this worse for everyone. We need honest sellers and the more you do it the faster you can smell a scammer.

Make sure you protect yourself by your wording in a sales listing. Never except returns, ever! My rule is once it leaves my hands it is the buyers. Period. I document and take pictures of the condition of what I am selling and list all scratches, etc honestly. Because once it is shipped I have no idea how I am going to get it back. If you clearly state no returns and buy as is then you are better protected.

I have had a lot of experience selling on ebay and Swappa and this is a policy I won't bend. Some may get a higher price offering a return but I try to offer the best condition and brutally honest description.

Good luck and I hope everything works out with this transaction and you continue to sell. Again the more honest people on these marketplaces the better for honest buyers and sellers.

100% I'm there with you I've sold about 15 items and bought 5 on Swappa and only one issue where the seller bought from someone on FB marketplace where my phone stopped working after 3 months. PayPal dispute went in my favor. Otherwise I take a lot of pics give honest description I video tape my phone as I walk through it right before I'm going to reset it. I videotape myself preparing it for delivery and most folks end up with a great device. If those be prepared for the one-offs

Great advice thank you. I've sold 35 phones on Swappa, so I guess 34 out of 35 ain't bad! I will take videos from now on and list all sales as "as-is" to protect myself. I will need to check if buyers are still able to get a refund if I put "as-is" in the description.

How are my OnePlus people doing around here? I'm most definitely enjoying this phone daily driving it.
Really like my OnePlus 13.
Much more compared to my previous Pixel 9 Pro XL and Samsung S25 Ultra.

Best smartphone display ever experienced.
Battery is great with the ultra fast charging as the cherry on the cake ;)

I will almost never have to worry about to worry about an empty battery.
15-20 minutes ultra fast charging with the 100W charger and I go from around 20-30% to about 80-90% battery.

Oneplus should really take notification handling take more seriously, that's actually one of the very few things that are not good at all

Exceptional indeed especially with the battery and the quick charge this morning getting ready for work charge real quick up to 100%. Everything I throw at the phone it handles. I'm not so big into photography but photos are good once in awhile I have to use different modes. I still have the P9PXL but I have not used it since I put the e Sim in this phone. I might actually sell it. I do miss some of the Google specific things like voice dictation. What don't you like about the notifications?

I am not able to have incoming notifications on the lockscreen with the content hided until authentication via fingerprint ID.
It will take me directly to the app where the notification is coming from.
Sometimes I just want to see the content of the notification on the lockscreen without unlocking the phone.

Just like with my iPhone 16 Pro. I can read the notification after it recognizes me via FaceID. That's how I would like to see it in OxygenOS.

It's nitpicking, I know ;)

I get it and let me test mine while locked. I know I see them on my AOD,, okay so turned on hide and I can see where the notifications are coming from like Gmail but not read it.

I feel the same way I could that also. I want it to be like iOS but it's not.

I like the feeling in hand with the slight little curved edges. It's comfortable for me and I actually like it a little bit better feeling in hand over my Pixel though I'm good with it as well

Have you found a tempered glass screen protector that you like? The factory applied film protector is annoying the crap out of me with the amount of smudges and finger prints it picks up.
I gave up on the tempered glass as both I tried were horrible on fingerprints scanning, they were the UV kind .

This one is film but low smudges and clear like really good
