It’s a shame the App Store promotes so many unofficial apps higher when you search “ChatGPT”, god knows what these unofficial apps are doing with your data

But Apple web that their App Store is curated and highly screened, so fake apps never reach the end user! 🙄

I had to click the direct link from my phone. Couldn't find it in search.

So far it works damn good as an A.I. And is super fast. But kind of sucks in the information department, as it says it doesn't have real time access to many topics.

Never realized how bad the App Store's search function is. I typed "OpenAI", "Open AI", "Open A.I.", "ChatGPT" and none of the top 5 results were for this.

Same, there are so many fake ChatGPT-powered apps that populate first, I legit had to find an article that directly linked the app, so that the browser opened the App Store right to it. Otherwise I couldn’t find it, lol.

A search in the App Store does not bring this up at all in the first three pages.
The Direct Link works.

Nope.

But here's an update.
I closed everything. Had not been able to fully create an account.
Went in to start over and got the warning that the account already exists.
Suddenly I have an account and can sign in.
No idea just WTF happened.

This app has my 14PM getting hot (not warm). I never felt it this hot without it being directly in the sun on a hot day. As soon as I closed the app, it cools down. No cool down pop-up or dimmed display, but I felt the heat through the official Apple leather back case.

So far the only things I did was ask it to write a couple of songs and raps for fun, and some random questions.

Anybody else's iPhone getting hot with this app?

Meanwhile, I've just been using the actual website this whole time, it's been pretty easy and seamless, and doesn't really ask for much info.

Now, maybe if there was a way to replace Siri with ChatGPT, I'd be more tempted to use this app.
